Hey Golfers!
Here is a drill and information on how to improve your movement through impact. Impact is NOT a position but part of the motion to create ball flight. Our awareness of impact is delayed based on when the Brain actually understands impact. This requires that we keep accelerating and rotating through the Functional Swing Plane (Kwon).
Having the proper grip is key to delivering force into the golf club. A grip with too weak of an alignment can cause poor contact, lack of rotation, and inconsistency. I fall into this trap all the time. Keeping pressure and force on the club with the proper grip alignment is a major difference between us non-touring professionals and the best in the game. I’ve compared my motion pre and post impact with some of the best players in the world and it is night and day on why I’m not hitting the ball as well as I could. The data tells the story.
Use these couple drills and check points to improve your golf swing. Check out Humo.Golf for a deeper conversation about the numbers.
Let’s get to work!

Tony, thanks for such an amazing content. These were some golden nuggets for advanced players out there. This rotation / pull you talked about is best facilitated by which feel ? Feel of lead shoulder pulling ? Left hip ? Or extension of lead leg ? Or another feel you recommend? Personally for me if I rotate with the lead hip I tend to mistime my rotation so your advice would be awesome. Again, wow! Thanks for sharing this invaluable advice.
Great information!
