I applaud them for making bladed irons more appealing to more golfers. I think more golfers should use blades, at least some irons, to appreciate why they are the most enduring iron design. With massive headed drivers and hollow irons, golfers struggle to understand where they strike the ball and can’t learn to flight the ball so readily. Self awareness is disappearing from golfer’s skill sets 🏌️♂️
Maybe a uk centrally based Takomo fitting centre could do well?
Good for you man. Glad you were able to get something in there you like. Anyone who follows you and James will not be surprised. I have found the irons that give me forgiveness and feel and they happen to be the 2016 Nike Vapor Fly irons. The are true game improvement irons but give me more forgiveness, confidence and surprisingly more feel than my TM Tour Preferred irons. Now if only you guys could get Gaz into clubs that work for him lol

What's in my bag Ping G430 SFT 10.5ºset at 11.5º Alta quick 45 senior shaft,G430 Max 3 fairway wood, G430 hybrid, G430 6-pw 45º, 50º, 54º, 58º, all with the Alta quick 45 senior shafts, Ping Chippr, Tommy Armour Impact 3 35" putter. I got the Pings because they have the HydroPeal finish as I'm first on the course and it is usually wet! Did I say I'm 70 years old?
I'm interested to hear how you've built out your entire bag from a gapping perspective. The lofts on those MBs are a lot different than the Forged Tecs. Did you need to tweak any of the lofts on the MBs to get the gapping you want? Looks like you're carrying 3 wedges. That's 4-pw in the MB, 3 wedges, putter, driver, and two utility clubs of some type. Does the 4 gap to the utility irons or do you have overlap and decide the longer clubs based on course conditions? Also wondering about how you've dealt with distance differences in the irons in your course management/strategy. Are you hitting 9 iron with the Takomo MBs where you may have been hitting PW with the ForgedTec? Was that difficult to mentally adjust to those differences?

Still rather have a real fitting with them wouldnt buy them without giving them a whack still not that cheap really 🤷 your basically buying them blind not a good idea really for me
I have built, played 101’s, 101T’s, 201’s and 301CB’s for both myself and customers. I landed on the 101T’s and absolutely love them. Great quality throughout the lineup.
Takomo has really done a great job at designing these clubs and making them very affordable!
Nice looking irons, but could you test them before buying ? Did you get the stock shaft or could you choose a custom shaft ? Cheers.
