Basketball isn't tennis, or track, or boxing, etc. Steve Kerr has more rings than Wilt Chamberlain. So what? You know who had more rings than Bird and Jordan? Jim Loscutuff. Who??? That's right. He averaged about 6 points and five and a half rebounds a game, but he had 7 rings. Why? Well for the same reason Chamberlain only had two: he played on the greatest dynasty in the history of professional sports – the Boston Celtics of the 50's and 60's, a team that had on its roster eight future hall of famers in one season, and there were multiple seasons like that. Bird didn't drag an average Celtics team to championships by himself: he was a part of some very fine rosters.
