  1. Home course advantage or not…the Euopeans simply played better and spanked the Yanks! ZACK failed miserably as Captain.

  2. There’s the problem right there lol, An American saying there’s no problem with the US team regarding friendship vs camaraderie, except the criticism and fix it, stop denying it’s a problem and ignoring it.
Don’t blame the course, they’re the worlds best, hit fairways and you don’t have to worry about the rough, golfers in Europe play fairways that look like first cut of rough on US courses, and all the European players hadn’t played this course, but what if they had, well they certainly haven’t played it more than the US team when it’s setup for the Ryder cup.

If you keep trying to solve the problem by only making excuses you’re never gonna fix what’s wrong.

  3. The notion that the home team always wins is just not true. Europe has won plenty in recent years in America. It's just the American team that can't win in Europe.

  4. The relationship of USA players with their PGA is one of far more distrust compared with the relationship that Euro players are having with the European tour/DP golf. Makes the money question much more of a topic within US team than European team. Looked like it affected their focus as it was an issue until the start of play. Doesn't help either.
As you mentioned, the USA has stars seen deflecting, while Euro only saw former stars going there for one more cashout at the end of their careers.

  5. heard enought at comparing the courses. Haas has no understanding of how golf especially in the US has changed. In his time they were different individuals. Todays professionals are not men like jay. they are greedy and have huge egos and there definitley is a differnce between US and European players. The US guys had 5 weeks to go over and check out the course. They are all miilionaires… they can fly over any time they like and have a few games on the course… yet none of them did this. Contrary, the Europeans were playing match play amongst themselvs in other comps in Europe. They are mllionaires too… but they have a different mentality to Ryder cup. and just to note, Europe took out all 4 comps, Ryder, Ryder junior, Solheim and Solheim junior….
