Watched Turner years ago in America and was talking a bunch of shit to him behind the net at a local game. Ended up meeting some of his friends and fiancé, they couldn't be nicer people. Singing "we're all living in a Turner wonderland.. a Turner wonderland." He's top class guy and a decent keeper. Also love Taiwo up top, absolute beast. All the best today lads
That was a brilliant interview. Billy is so knowledgeable, so fluent (not a single hesitation or repetition) and also (importantly) so realistic. He's very sensible about where Brentford should be aiming, very sensible about the impact that Rico Henry's injury will have, just generally he has the demeanour of of proper fan who has followed the Bees through good times and bad, is grateful for every game he gets to watch his team in the Prem, never forgets where they came from. Brilliant interviewee. And then as an interviewer Adam did such a good job of not intruding, keeping out of the way while Billy riffed, but also guiding things gently. Top notch. You definitely need to get Billy back for the reverse fixture.
