Charley Hull shows you how she approaches three different types of chip shots when faced with a slightly uphill, tight lie chip. Using three different lofts on her Milled Grind TaylorMade wedges and TP5x golf ball, Hull displays how the length of her backswing is key to pulling off certain types of shots.

  1. 😂😂 you'd think they'd edit the bad shots out and keep the good ones !
Poor Charley Such a good player!
    Taylormade tut tut

  2. Ummm.. is it just me or was this the exact same technique but with 3 different wedges?

  3. I think this needs to be taken down and re thought out….

It's the same chipping technique, just with 3 clubs. None of the shots are particularly bad, but it's just a strange video that doesn't show much 🤷🏼‍♂️

  4. dude whoever set her up for this must have been an intern. this was bad. this did not happen "Hull displays how the length of her backswing is key to pulling off certain types of shots."

  5. 1. Use a 60° and hit it the same
    2. Use a 54° and hit it the same
    3. Use a 50° and hit it the same

  6. They haven't edited this at all to remove the bad shots. When watching videos for the men, they always edit out bad shots – as we all know the top men players will also hit shots that are not perfect but these are edited out. I feel for Charley Hull, who is a great golfer, but the editing of this video is shockingly bad compared to other TaylorMade videos.

  7. really sorry – but as an amateur i learnt nothing fron this video – no explanation of anything here. Shame.

  8. the 3 different shots is the balle flight.. not a pure technique juste one is a flop shot and other is lower with more rolling effect. so stop thinking this vid are bad cause she hit the same.

  9. Yeah, so just don't drag the handle through. Daniel Grieve teaches this technique and works great.

  10. I'm going to agree with most of the comments. Love Charley. Don't love the video. That said, I'm going to suggest some value to watching her. She is very relaxed. It is not a big backswing, but there is acceleration and crisp contact with no real "hit." So, while it could have been and imparted much more, the mere act of watching her can be instructive.
