Impact is not effected in a correct way if we don’t understand how our bodies look in both positions. The turning of the body will force us to exaggerate some of the changes we want to do.

Let me help you get a effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook.

Long and straight is every ones goal but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill.

If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can get better.

Find what inspires you. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV.

Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.

Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.

Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots.

The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

  1. Marcus when I swing like you suggest I hit everything in the heel especially driver. I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I also still cannot draw the ball with my driver. Just a reminder I'm a lefty also. Thanks for another informative video

  2. Hello Marcus, another great video, thank you, with the driver i can hit it long and with a small draw because i just think to realease very early from inside and it works well but with irons shall i also release with my hands but a bit later ?

  3. Most of us are to static in our approach; we think we do something new, but we still do the same. Your emphasize on exaggeration is so good, really love this video! Thanks.

  4. Hi Marcus

Thank you !! for explaining things in such a simple and straight forward manor!!

I only discovered your channel a week ago and already I’m beginning to understand some of the terminology that has been thrown at me in my 30 plus years of hitting a fade, slice, hook, pull, push, fat, thin, top, (shank) and occasional push draw.

Really like the Driver or Irons swing lesson a real light bulb moment for me about the release.

    Thank you 👍

keep up the good work it makes sense.

  5. Thank you so much for this video! This is the very thing I'm going to be working on this season. I have never made a good turn through impact. I've simply returned to my set up position with a tiny turn of the body. I've built many compensations throughout the years to hit it "good enough". But it's time to make some changes. Thanks!

  6. When I hit 7 o'clock to 1 o'clock at ball right hand ball goes straight on that path my arms swing out away from me if not fade straight push it hit 6 to 12 it is pretty much straight ball with pull error the pull error is always my right shoulder how do I get happy median

  7. Hi Marcus,

I have been working on your swing approach for 8 months with moderate success. This video made me realize that I am opening up too soon and causing me to hit my irons and driver off the toe. I play the driver off the middle and irons just in front of my back foot. Should I move closer to the ball and move ball position back in my stance for both clubs.

  8. a bit off topic but do you ever review drivers? Which are your favorites or would you recommend any?

  9. Marcus can you do video on posture in setup? How much should we be bent forward? Is the club flat at address?

  10. Hey Marcus, when I slow down and freeze frame your driver videos, at impact your back foot’s heel is barley off the ground and your belt buckle has turned very little towards the target. I believe every since Ben Hogan’s famous “your swing starts from the lower body” and the totally overused “ ground up” cliche, people are now hip spinners. Obviously you have a very strong upper body. Which might power your swing more then most. The question is what is your ideal hip position at impact with the premiss of “ feels vs real”. Thanks

  11. Today I’m going to try what you’ve explained, it makes so much sense. Thank you. You’ve got my subscription.

  12. Your opening remarks hit home to me. You are pointing out what years of golf instructions have done for me and many others. I call it positional golfing, feet here, hands there, don’t turn your head and so on. I feel that old school instructions trying to mimic a tour professional clog a golfers mind and tie😊 him/her up and cause a stiff swing. I can’t wait to see the magic but I can’t wait too long at 75 nearing 76 years.👍🇨🇦👨‍🦳

  13. This is so much different from all the other info coming out of other instructors. He's talking natural swing path as opposed to P 2-3-4-5 etc. Absolute gold, loving this content. Thank you.
