Good Good Champion, sponsored by Golf Galaxy, winner, Cameron Sisk, is +3 on the day.

  2. Individual_Scheme_11

A good little reminder if you think you can turn pro, you probably can’t

  3. Finished +1 thru 9, not horrible. I know he gets a lot of hate here for whatever reason, but rooting for him to make the cut at least

He is a good golfer but not ready for this stage just yet. There are a ton of talent in golf these days. I know personally 10-15 guys that shoot sub 68 every time we play and they have regular jobs. Golf is hard. Especially trying to do it for a living. It’s a fine line and gotta get hot at the right moment. Good luck kid.

and he fucking fell apart on the back dammit micah, you let the haters win

  6. Holiday_Accountant73

He just tripled #14 he is 1 shot off last place now unfortunately

  7. Calyps0h

I’ll never understand being so small you feel the need to shit on someone with the courage to attempt their dreams.

  8. Admirable_Display159

God Micah. He wasn’t even going too bad through 9 but he just shot himself out of any chance

  9. Shrinking_Universe22

+2 isn’t even that bad. Tied for 131 is crazy. Must be tons of guys at even par. EDIT: Nvm that is through 7 holes lol.

150 and in he’s like a 5 handicap what do you expect? He only has a decent long game. Short game is MILES away from pro / isn’t even comparable.

  11. RandomChaoticEntropy

He’s now tied second from last at +7 :/

Part of Micah’s problem is going to be knowing he has a YT audience watching him… because he wants so bad to prove people wrong that the psychology of that pressure can hold him back. I think if he had one winning real tournament he would actually take off.

Yikes… two 8’s on the back nine for an 82 and dead last place.

He finished +11 (82) on the day. Dead last. Clever move by the Osprey Open to get people who would have never paid attention to a PGA Canada event to pay attention. Nothing against Micah Morris at all, but the difference between him and a pro golfer is massive.

This might be a soft reality check for him, even if he played at his best he wouldn’t get close to the projected cut line, and this is a relatively low level event for pro players.

I don’t really understand the extreme hatred towards him in general, like we all know he isn’t good enough for pro play (and he probably does as well) but I see a lot of comments here and on youtube just rip him for at least trying

  16. SpeedIsK1ing

When YT meets actual professional golf. Sad.

  17. He needs this reality check that he is nowhere close and is playing golf for a living. With his supposed “distance” there is no excuse he couldn’t shoot in the mid 70s with a course length of about 6950.

Now we know why he didn’t show up for the GG championship, he would of gotten rocked. Has to be regretting leaving GG now

  18. Brianf1977

He just doesn’t have the mental health needed to play at that level.

  19. frankdaviss

Chase finished-1. Rooting for him tomorrow

  20. Miggy1483

If he’s serious, he really needs to go hard with a coach for a couple of years and a coach with whom he can mix the YT content in with. Porzak or someone, idk, but the general golf YT shit is gonna be a big distraction for any aspiring pro golfer.

I was there following yesterday and it was a really cool experience. His score was not indicative of the day as a whole. For 12 holes he played like he belonged out there. Got a couple of bad breaks late that really cost him. He’s definitely got a ways to go but he was to go, but it wasn’t as bad as it looks

  22. Late_Star_5854

A lot of hate here for Micah.

Hes just a man chasing his dream. Relax.

Micah is proving that there is a big difference between being a scratch golfer and being a professional golfer.
