    There’s no other reason to trade for him besides not having confidence in average Dakota. If only average Dakota got to play, all bad teams in the playoffs than the Cowboys might actually be a threat.

This is typical Jerry Jones passive aggressive move to attempt to motivate Dak for the upcoming season. If anyone thinks Trey Lance threatens Dak, they must be drinking the same koolaide as Stephen A. This guy couldn’t beat out SAM DARNOLD for the back up in S.F. This is a waste of a 4th round pick, for a guy that couldn’t develop under one of the best Offensive minds in the NFL and lost his job to Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy.

    Or it’s that the youngest qb on the team until the trade was made was 28 and the second youngest will be 30 this season and Dak is already 30. No shame in wanting to get younger in an area of need and develop a player.
