  1. Does it surprise ANYONE that something shady is going on? The main players in this deal have been lying and withholding information from day one. Just ask the tour players how much they know. And I can't wait until the next Senate hearing. Blumenthal is going to rake Monahan over the coals. I think I'll make popcorn

  2. I'd like to comment on the amazing crowds at the US Amateur @ Cherry 🍒 Hills in Denver Colorado. Huge and respectful. On NBC

  3. Is your channel being used to scam people? I got an email from you today. Can you verify it was you??🤔

  4. The only way this BS stops if the money stops flowing, need to send a message as people did with Bud and Disney!

  5. As far as the golf ball roll back goes , I don’t care if they can hit the ball 400 yards , they still need to be on greens and putt ! They are athletes they can and will adjust to whatever the golf course set-up is . Same as it was in the past , there’s long hitters and short hitters, game on 😂

  6. PGA and the USGA do NOT want to us…the public and golfing public, because they have been screwing their members. Their action have always been criminal and unethical toward their independent professonal golfers. F the PGA Tour…I look forward when their "brand" is trashed and removed from GOLF.

  7. Simple way to sort out the problem. The 4 majors, is where all players, play with the rolled back ball. All balls supplied to the players by the starter on the first tee. Will have no other input, on all other tournaments.

  8. If they don't release everything THE PLAYERS SHOULD REVOLT start a class action against PGA USPGA and refuse to continue playing until !!

  9. All about money and control. Sounds like big government. Only care their pockets and don't care about the players. They forgot, without the players they have nothing. No different than racing sanctioning bodies, don't care about the players only the money

  10. ""Everybodies got something to hide cept for me and my Monkey" (Beatles song)True right ! Some more some less!!

  11. To first argue that having Saudi Arabia invest in golf and lure professional golfers away from the PGA is immoral and then act to seal public documents (yes, the courts are a branch of government and sealing documents should only be done in cases where disclosure would propel a public harm or personal threat to safety….) to reduce "transparency" to the public is total hypocrisy. The PGA's argument against LIV is that the PGA is acting as the arbiter of public morality protecting the sanctity of the game but now we don't want the "little people in the public we are trying to protect" to know what the terms of various aspects of this lawsuit was actually about. As a former lawyer all I can say is, shady my friend, very shady.

  12. They always say, why cover it up unless there is something to hide, and I RECON there is a lot of stuff they are terrified of becoming public knowledge. The whole system smells bad, and this just makes the smell worse than it already is. The rollback, will only hurt the shorter hitters, the big hitters will still hit it longer. If everyone was hitting the ball like Rory or Bryson, then there would be a worthwhile argument. Players train hard to hit the ball longer distances, it is that fitness that has pushed distances for the few. The ball and clubs have had the same stringent technology boundaries to live within, for decades, no matter what they say in adverts. I remember the old smaller ball, and the golf equipment we used, the very first metal woods, the first graphite shafts. Par 4's back then, were driver, 9 iron, or 1 iron, 7 iron, when conditions allowed, it was a chip onto the green. Yes I was fit and strong, with speed and power, came longer distance, but today that speed, power and fitness, is being targetted. Just make the courses harder, by narrowing the fairways at the longer landing distances. Put in bunkers, or water, make hitting shorter the only shot. But that isn't what the spectators want, they love seeing Bryson and Rory bomb the ball, its what makes them special.

  13. The documents being sealed is almost definetly to do with the agreement the Pif and Pga Tour have about the litigation, remember. The Pga tour wanted an agreement that stipulated no more litigation against them. I expect the papers being sealed are that. The golf ball debate, the arguments about short hitters and long hitters will no doubt continue but a quick fix is the ball. Making courses tighter or more technically demanding takes years to do so its not a quick fix it is a long term investment from courses. For all you doubters out there, Brian Harman is not a big hitter but it didnt stop him winning did it?

  14. None of the entities involved are public entities? Hence, all their business are secrets until it’s not. Why the extreme curiousness about all this? They are still fighting for power. And biggest purse will win in the end.

  15. I was never in favour of rolling golf balls back. I was a junior golfer in the 1990s in the days of Maxfli and TopFlites etc. Bottom line is they were trash. Modern equipment and balls have just made it more fun for golfers at all levels.

Regarding the sealing of documents. Given the amount of back handers involved in something like this, I'm hardly surprised.

  16. Big problems with a ball roll back for golf ball manufacturers. It would be a marketing disaster for those companies because no one will buy them. Pros get their balls for free so the companies that make these rolled back balls would lose their butts on them. All of the golf ball companies should tell the USGA and R&A if you want a rolled back ball. Then you start your own ball company and make them yourselves because we will not make them.

  17. I am sure they are hiding something. We may never know what, but this whole deal has been fishy from the start.

  18. If two non profits are not transparent they are hiding info about how they are running their charities ! What are they lying about!

  19. I deleted what I said before because I really don’t know what to say about this. It isn’t the greatest look rushing to hide information. But tbf who wants their laundry aired out, clean or not? The answer is no one.

As for the roll back the usga and rna wasted a bunch of time and lost credibility if they thought the pga tour and pga of America would agree to this bifurcation idea.
The usga and rna need to sack up and change the rule across the board as they did with grooves, anchoring and driver length. It’s the only way. If they are going to do this.

But turning the rules into one big compromise is always going to be one big disaster in the making.

If I’m the rules makers I’m bringing Jack and tiger in and figuring this out already.

Imo a great powerful drive on a 500’yard par 4 should leave about a 200 yard shot. And maybe 25o for a good shorter hitter. It’s really that simple for me.
