Arsenal is no more.
There is no need to panic, preaseason games are there to identify problems and make possible solutions to them.
The reason we had a good start last season is that we had fairly easy start to the season and were able to build confidence before playing the better teams. Having a very tough pre season might be a good idea in some way however if we have to play on the back foot we cant learn how each other plays and build up to it.
Getting beat during the game and penalties is pretty embarrassing

I still can't understand or see how Havertz is an upgrade on Xhaka or any of the attackers at Arsenal…. Why would they spend ยฃ65m on him when they could have bought Mohammed Kudus and Diaby for the same price?

Guys this is brown AFTV fan from Canada, guys just the aggression and careless tackling by Man utd players. It was rough and could have injured anyone. Arsenal played calm and collectively…But we need to straighten up and break their legs this season
The only thing I'm worried about is if havertz becomes another Willian situation. It took sooo long with him playing horribly to lose a place in the team
Rice and havertz will need more time than timber
From what I could see, the two of them had a somewhat different approach to the game being played:
1. Ten Hag used this game to increase the morale of his players, which is why it was apparent that he wanted it more, evident from the way Man United played. โWin this and weโll have a great seasonโ, he told his players. And rightfully so.
2. Arteta, on the other hand, used this game as an opportunity to experiment. He didnโt seem to put on any unnecessary pressure on the players, and even required some to play in positions unfamiliar to them (i.e. Havertz as a CM, Rice with more responsibilities on the ball). Even though we lost, it just gave Arteta some insight on what to improve.
In the end Iโm sure both got what they wanted. Hereโs to a great season not only dominated by City! ๐ฅ

Rice, Havertz and Odegaard dosent work. Partay, Rice and Odegaard is what I want to see.
I know it's early but Havertz looks like a waste of money. I hope he proves me wrong, but from what I've seen from him at Chelsea, and his performances so far for us he just doesn't seem up to the standard we need to progress and challange city.
