Trust me… watch to the end! In this video I test the PXG 0311 GEN6 to see if PXG have finally made a driver to challenge the “big” brands!

Check out a Tour Edge C723 driver. Same price as a PXG.
I knew it was a good idea to wait before buying a Stealth. Turns out drivers with their faces held together with glue are not as reliable as drivers with their faces welded in
In addition to the Stealth Driver clubface coming loose, I note that you had a concern about the clubface of the Wilson Dynapower Driver when you tested it. Sure would like to see some followup on both of these…………thanks/MG.
That driver sounds so freaking goodđ
Ya but did the pxg driver break twice?
I don't have a PXG yet my strikes are also exceedingly consistent.
"Fore right!"
"Fore right!"
"Fore right!"
At least PXG Driver faces don't pop out đđđ
Great Video BTW but one small criticism. Please lose the Rick Shields beard đ
Great job finchy ya meaty ball of muscle youâŠâŠ destroyed another driver
( I think someone needs testing to see what he puts in his coffeeđđ)
Was thinkingâŠ.. how many of those drivers are out there that are completely different to each other now seeing the performance of the materials??? Some may have slight issues that go unnoticed for years and the owner doesnât know
Does this mean weâre at a concord moment using materials that wonât marry or up to reliability on testingâŠâŠ. And if itâs a questionâŠâŠ.. are they legal? As they keep changing. Both your examples were in different spots
Then again if you drink more tea and said woooosaaaa more you might not break themđđ animal haha
Great work Pete âŠ. Avid viewer
Loving the video format! Great stuff as usual to the whole team.
The Gen6 clubs are certainly no huge bargain! The Gen5 drivers have been reduced and aren't too bad, but one issue I have is there aren't any places I know of near me that I can try them without paying for a PXG fitting. That means cost up front before even finding out if it'd be a good club for me. I can walk into my local golf shops and try several drivers from a number of makers that cost less for free.
Even pros don't hit a six degree driver!! đ€Șđ€Ș
The PXG pricing model and change is absolutely a business decision. Come into the industry as a mysterious and expensive brand with new tech and a cool logo, and once you've figured it out (which it definitely took them time to) sell at lower premiums and give everyone a door to this mysterious fancy brand. Plus, with such a reputation, the consumer will be more likely to buy more clubs and effectively build brand loyalty.
I'm Definitely holding off buying the Stealth 2 until I see the follow up video đź
That sound is fantastic!
Youâre definitely not the only one having issues with the stealth 2 face popping out. Loads of people on forums including myself had issues (mine was with the first generation). Until they sort out a stronger binding agent, Iâll stick with Callaway or Ping
Taylormade Stealths are overpriced garbage!
So I have just purchased the Callaway Rogue LS Max. Did this from your reviews from last year. I know you are kinda promoting the PXG in this video. And having owned a Gen 4 PXG driver I hope they have made them better and longer since then. JMO
If the stealth 2 is having reliability problemsâŠ.. and the Paradym is actually a little better ( in forgiveness and distance) than the previous year RogueâŠ. Then I would think it would be a no brainer to go back to the Paradym.
BC the Callaway Rogue is a truly great! IMO Would love to see a head to head on the Paradym triple diamond and this PXG Gen 6 driver.
BTW for all you guys who think I am just hating on PXGâŠâŠ I currently hit Gen 3 0311 P irons. And not looking to upgrade anytime soon!! I love the soft feel and accuracy of my irons.
You want to see their prices go up rapidly, it will be when they start sponsoring top caliber tour players.
That is the third video I have watched that the stealth face has come off.
Come for the equipment reviews, stay for the bird id.
Hmmm, itâs looking like TaylorMade are going to have to go back to the drawing board with their Stealth Drivers as clearly itâs far more than a simple QC issue, judging by how many people have had so many issues with the face, popping out or delaminating.
From a personal standpoint Iâve always been one for going for the underdog or an option that doesnât necessarily follow convention. Perhaps going for the oddity, or oddball in an established line. And this has told in some of my iron choices or Driver Choices in the past.
Looking at the issue with the Stealth youâve had. Iâd be extremely tempted at this point to suggest âJust go for the PXGâ set your own convention. Unless of course you think that there is a 3rd Driver, that perhaps gives the feel you get with the Stealth, but without the inherent design issues.
Plenty of women on tour using PXG
just got one for 380
give in to your temptation
Pete you've lost it, I've seen too many videos of yours where you couldn't hit a fairway. and i just saw you ripping them down the fairway, but your not going to put it in your bag? Because of 6 yards? Six yards more in the rough.
