One of the strangest themes in this sub is people being like “why do you care about their personal lives” as if literally the ENTIRE shift in 21st century pop culture entertainment isn’t about caring about the personal lives of people we see on our TVs, laptops and phones. Social media by definition is the socialization of our no longer private lives and hobbies.
Almost every single thing we know about these people is because they WANT us to know about it. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t post about it. So again, it’s just incredibly weird that people bring this energy into the sub of making fun of people for being interested in their personal lives
