Thoughts? Dmitry Bivol’s boxing style is very unique, here on display on the boxing pads before his fight against Mexican Canelo Alvarez.

Bivol relies on range, timing, and movement to win fights – his style appeals to those who appreciate the intricacies of boxing.

He combines Eastern European/Soviet fundamentals with occasional flashy American-style movements and a lower guard for balance, counter-punching, and unpredictability.

Inspired by fighters like Roy Jones Jr and Sugar Ray Leonard, Bivol’s disciplined approach prioritizes technical proficiency, physical conditioning, and ring IQ.

Whether facing aggression or defense, his style gives him the best chance to succeed.
