  1. Am I wrong by saying that having a rounded back while deadlifting is a bad thing and can lead to injury?

  2. i feel like for someone training the deadlift for general strength and muscle gains, and not trying to maximize weight lifted in a competition for example, a neutral spine/flat back deadlift is ideal, because it's a lot less risky.

  3. Hey Justin, I know that there’s a lot of correlation between squat vs deadlift strength. But is this also true for hacksquat vs deadlift?

  4. Oh that’s probably why am I lock is so weak because people are like question me on it and telling me to do rack pools, which I incorporated as well as like black-pulls

  5. my friend who always tryna correct my form and deadlifts like a sissy got injured and posted a slipped disc x-ray on his story

  6. I would disagree with the hamstring part. Lifting with a rounded thoracic spine will actually use more hamstrings because of the higher hip position. It will use less quads though.

  7. Just for clarification, the thoracic spine is naturally rounded a little, so a bit of upper back rounding isn’t so bad. Rounding of the lumbar spine, though, is not good and needs to be fixed.
