The first of two simple micro streamers in our July 2023 name-the-fly contest. I have no idea how well this pattern will work if it works at all, but I have a feeling this might fool some reckless trout or panfish.
Hook: #8-12 streamer
Thread: Black
Body: Silver tinsel
Wing: White arctic fox, over black crystal flash, over colored bucktail

Hello Matt I love to watch your videos and tie the flies you do, I was wondering if you could try to make a variant of a elk hair cactus and with some rubber legs I thing it would be a great video and would work for different species of brim thank you and keep up the great work 👍

Hmm..lots of good names already. I can't tell you what makes me think of it but this looks like a Platinum Blonde to me.
We had a dog a few years ago that had very similar white fur with black markings. I called my wife over to look at your finished fly. I pointed out the various components in the order that you tied them, but when I got the Arctic Fox she said, "and that's Dexter fur!" And I've tied a few "memorial" flies using Dexter's fur. So, for me, it will always be known as a Dexter Special.
i would call it matts white fox thanks
The “Fickie Min”
The “Silver Foxy Lady”
I’d have to go with Attic Lightning.
Hope you have a great trip! How about “Foxy Minnow”!
