Despite a fractured ankle Tom Kim completed a remarkable week with a 4 under par 67 that saw him finish tied for 2nd place with Sepp Straka and Jason Day, behind Claret Jug winner Brian Harman.
India’s Shubhankar Sharma also enjoyed his best finish in a major after he carded a one-under 70 to end tied for eight spot.
The top ten finish will also see both players securing their spot at the Open Championship in 2024 at Royal Troon.
