    I am a Liverpool fan and they use to say the same thing about Liverpool when they came second and it got me worked up. Rio is spot on! Arsenal have had a great season but they are not winners. You have to win to be a winner! Praise them for their improvement but do not overshoot and call them winners!

    Sorry but Ferdinand is living in the past still . Abd bext sesson will be lucky to finish top 6th . Liverpool with a few key signings will be challenging again . Chelsea with a proper mansger in should be challenging, arsenal i don't think iys a one season wonder as the second half of last season was brilliant. Newcastle will only strengthen each year and obviously city is city, where as United now to me is just a toxic club fans want owners out, half there squad isnt good enough apary from there midfield and rashford and varane whos ageing a bit now there squad is average so unless they have a major clear out and heavily invest which i dont think there owners will i think at best theyd come 5th but with the likes of villa and brighton want to be pushing aswell for those positions and spurs depending what happens with kane and the manager it xould be a difficult season for them

    I think it is "winning" vs "being successful"… there are no derivatives of winning in sports, you either win or you lose. However, you may be successful, even without winning a title or a trophy.

    Liverpool came 2nd by a point 97 and 98 points rival fans hammered liverpool in the banter pages for coming 2nd regardless they got the highest points for coming 2nd.
    Arsenal are not winners 😮 they bottled it. City gave Arsenal a chance and lowered the difficulty level this season to hard where as Liverpool was up against city on world class level
