  1. This has transformed my golf game I now have a dot on every iron absolutely simple and brilliant thanks

  2. i just foot spray my irons at the range if i want to see where on the face im hitting. easy to wipe off, easy to reapply. smells fresh too 😀

  3. I don’t know why but up until recently this was maybe my 6th favourite golf channel. I loved the leg straight video that was big help but THIS one is just…so simple and such amazing results. Took about 5 swings at the sim to get the feel and my 8 iron carry increased by 10m. Thanks a million Mark

  4. Sure going to try it. That's my main problem with golf, hitting my irons. This isn't a very easy game to play.

  5. You don't need a marker, just use painters tape or other semi-adhering tape piece. If you just lightly push it on the club face it also tells you how good the strike was. I use two inch wide tape on my driver drills and it gives me instant feedback on strike position. And it does not ruin your whitewall 😀

  6. Honestly, more people should know about you in the golf world. keep it up!
Thank you so much for these materials.

  7. I have a variation on this marking. I mark my balls with a big black stripe. As well as an alignment aid on tee shots and putts, it helps with strike and low point control. With a 7 iron I want to see a mark on at least the 5th groove, preferably higher. Definitely not on the first groove and ideally not the second one either. So I can have a massive miss by 3 grooves and the ball will still be on the green. I will, though, note that my low point control was poor and figure out what i need to do better on the next shot.

  8. I’ve loved the increased focus on digestible instruction as of late. I loved the travel and the muppets, but this is just so much more useful.

  9. HI MARK ,
I TRIED ANOTHER WAY SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT ON YOU TUBE , GET SOME SPRAY BUT I USED TALC ON RANGE THIS SHOWS SAME THING
    GOOD IDEA THOUGH .
CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN ME ALSO .

  10. Best tip for all of you watching this. Stop watching videos by youtube losers, go buy David Leadbetters or Tiger Woods book, actually read it, then go to the range and practice. None of these youtubers can help you, they are losers just trying to get monetized.

  11. There was a guy in our regular foursome that would make this move like scooping the ball into the air. No matter how many times we told him hit down on the ball he just wouldn't do it. I got a lot of money out of him betting.

  12. Mark … Great video! After watching your video, getting a Sharpie marker, and spending a few sessions at the (iron) range, my iron strikes are much, much better. I am hitting the ball higher, further, and (most importantly) much more consistently. The mental mindset is to hit the ball about half way up the club face … and voila! Before, I thinned the ball way too frequently; now, I hit the ball on the middle of the face almost all of the time!

  13. My swing thought with irons is ‘try and hit the top of the ball’ . It never actually happens but it gets me to strike ball then turf 🎉🎉🎉

  14. i'm having trouble with slicing because my instructor says i'm trying to push at the ball too much trying to emulate something like this. How do you release but deloft at the same time?

  15. Hi Mark, love to see you going back doing what you are the best at!! Thank you for your great advice and simple explanation!

  16. Hi Mark. I am that guy with good strikes but thin. What strengthened my grip and now I can get my right hand into the shot and hit the ball more solidly with shaft lean. Thanks for the tip.

  17. buddy of mine uses foot spray on his club face during practice. a thin coat turns white and leaves a very in-your-face clear ball mark on the club face. if you buy the right brand, it smells delightful too =)

  18. Hitting down on the ball changed my life i was always trying to get under, it was a great epiphany

  19. Please advise: How do I mark my club face and then see where the ball is meeting the face…
    AT THE RANGE??

  20. Use a dry-erase marker and you won't have to worry about permanently marking the ball, club or the screen.

  21. I wish your videos were on real golf course, I can hit perfect on the mat but not on the real grass . So the feed back of your video doesn’t help me much because I’m good in the driving range

  22. Thanks for clarifying this huge situation for most of golfdom. Excellent!. Loving the new style videos Mark.Congrats..

  23. Mark I often hit behind the ball even on mat.should I just keep moving ball back in stance until my contact is better?also the rotation of the Forearms and not just the Hands is an eye opener for me.
    thanks
    John
