Why would there be any value in talking contract extension for debrincat if he wants to test UFA?
I'd rather not have Reeves on my Leafs….he can barely skate and they couldn't possibly give him more than 7 mins a nite….. defensive liability.

I'd like to see Ryan Reaves return to the Blues, but, not going to happen.
They let Jones go to make room for guys like Korczynski to step up and get their feet wet this year. Connor Brown is not a good skater, lol. He has slow down tremendously but is good in other areas and makes up for it. I would be OK with the Reeves and Ottawa over Watson. One guy treats guys like a punching bag and the other guy gets punched like a punching bag🤣
Here's a Flyers' trade idea. Sanheim to Calgary with 30% salary retained, in exchange for Hanifan, who wants to play for a U.S. based team. Flyers have a year to try to convince him to re-sign, or they trade him at next year's deadline. Flames get stability on defense as they rebuild. Sanheim gets to go back to Western Canada, where he's from, and collect $6.5 MM. Win-win-win, but Flyers have to pay $1.95MM a year for 8 years, thanks to Fletcher.
