Fritz Maytag, former owner of Anchor Brewing Company who saved Anchor Brewing Company in the sixties hired Mark in 1971 and he spent his entire career there as head brewer until he retired in 2019. He and his wife are local Petaluma residents with a horse ranch. Serious traveller to places that tourists do not go – most recently uzbekistan. He was often a Co-Host with Herlinda on Brew HaHa.
