  1. We love you Joe Klecko! Thanks Jake for another stellar interview, in the words of Joe B.

  2. I live close to Joe. I have run into him at the Statium and other places. He has always been a Great Guy every time I said hi or asked for a autograph. Congratulations Big Man!!

  3. I’m 57 years old. I’ve been a Jet fan since I was 11 or 12. I grew up in the 80’s watching Klecko destroy backfields. Notice I said backfields. He was equally great against the run and the pass. A true legend. Welcome to the HOF Joe! Jet nation loves you.

  4. As always, great interview. You ask really good questions of the people you interview. I wanted to ask that question about hollywood, but never got to send it off. Thanks for reading my mind. 😅

  5. Another great interview! I'm 65 years old and the first game I ever watched was Super Bowl III. Growing up on Long Island, I used to see Joe Namath and the Jets practice at Hofstra. I've been a huge Joe Klecko fan ever since they drafted him. I always enjoy your channel, but this one is the best yet! Keep up the good work! I never catch you live, because I live in Los Angeles and I'm working when you're live.

  6. Congatlations on your long overdue selection to the Hall of Fame, and thank you for making the game so entertaining. I was a huge fan when I was a kid.

  7. Joe Klecko was part of the great New York Jets draft in 1977 which includes Marvin Powell, Wesley Walker, Dan Alexander, Scott Dierking, Kevin Long, and Matt Robinson. These players helped turnaround the franchise to a decent club that eventually went to the 1982 Championship game.

  8. JETS AT RAIDERS, PLAYOFFS 1982, L.A. COLISEUM, JETS 17, RAIDERS 14 ….. G O JETS ! … IN THAT GAME, THERE WAS A FIGHT AFTER EVERY PLAY… I DONT SEE HOW ANYONE MADE IT THROUGH THAT GAME ALIVE….JUST A HORRIBLE WAR……GO JETS !!! GO THE GREAT JOE KLECKO !!! ….LETS " REVIVE " , THE NEW YORK SAAAAAKKKKK !!!! EXCHANGE, THIS YEAR !!! YEAH !!! GO JETS !!!! LETS KICK SOME ASS , THIS YEAR !!! YEAH !!!

  9. Jake do you know who knocked on Nameth’s door and told Joe Willie when he was inducted?

  10. Oh geez… now revis is beefing with him.. we get 2 HOF’ers 1 shoe in 1 slept on and Jake sends em to war on us… C’monnnnn Jake. 😅

  11. I am 62 yrs old. Grew up watching the Sack Exchange. Joe Klecko is the best. Çongratulations.

  12. Seeing Joe Namath tell him that made me cry-I'm. a Jets fan for 55 years who saw Joe Willie win that game with the great Championship team. Joe Klecko deserves this honor

  13. Goosebumps and maybe a tear shed watching that clip of Namath informing klecko

  14. Great interview! Joe Klecko was always one of my favorites. So happy the HOF voters got it right.

  15. Richard Todd stayed in Ft Lauderdale after that Miami playoff game to get his payoff from the gangsters in New Orleans for throwing that game. I have ALWAYS thought that. I think Steve Serby also thinks so.

  16. S/o Joe, definitely way before my time but it was great to hear from the horses mouth about the years back then. Seems like a good dude
