Today I review another Cut Golf Ball. The Cut Grey is a softer 80 compression performance ball with a 3-piece construction and a urethane cover. Designed for players with moderate swing speeds. Will this ball do as well as the DC Blue? How durable will the cover be? These are questions I hope to answer in this video.

  1. Played this ball for about a year. Good ball, but was out of stock for awhile. Went to the Oncore elixr. Maybe I'll go back to the grey.

  2. I tried the cut blue myself, bought them off Amazon for £22.50 . Was impressed myself but with some reservations. It's hard for me to remember what prov 1 feels like because I don't use them, I prefer TP5. But I would say that the Cut ball was circa 80% of the TP5. It didn't spin as well as TP5 and it felt clicky off the putter which I don't personally like. Off the irons they seemed ok, but I did lose a bit of distance. Overall for £22.50 per dozen here in the UK against TP5 or Prov 1 it's a no brainer, however although I don't really play competitive golf but I do like to play the best I can and I would be doing myself a disservice by playing something I don't feel 100% with so I will stick to TP5. Nice review. I haven't tried the grey.
