  2. Feel free to ping me when you get to Scotland. I've never played Monmouth, it looks fairly average for what we have here in UK, but it also looks like your partners didn't guide you particularly well. You can do better.

  3. You need a good base layer and a fleece to play when it is 53 degrees out and fleece tights if windy. The coat is the issue. Signed, midwest november golfer.

  4. Yeah, the days where the swings just disappear suck. I had recently been playing decent golf after temporarily putting the driver away, but today, just could not find a rhythm and scored a 58, my worst 9-hole score of the year. Worst 18-hole score was a 124.

  5. Playa, I started watching your videos last year at my lowest, full of pride and anger , I wasn’t getting better. Had unrealistic expectations of myself. I was a 95 player after playing for 7 years. I lost the ego, worked on putting, chipping and mind. I’m working on my 30 yard shot one dayI found my swing. One episode you mentioned something to in regard to your attitude on the course is correlated to attitude in life. That resonates with me and told myself, I may always suck but I love the game and I’m going to ruin it if I don’t change. So I just stopped getting mad, stopped ruining other peoples time when my game fell apart and let go of the pride. Last Saturday I hit a 82 and could have easily been a 78 but duffed a couple chips. In that, i swing with no tension, not concerned what people think and now I’m straighter and longer than 10 years ago. I was told and read that if after 3 years, If you haven’t broke in the 80s then you never will and if you come over the top, then you always will. I’m hitting a little draw done. It can be done and attitude is the main factor. Thanks for your channel and positive energy.

  6. i assumle that playing in hot conditions and very nice and manicured golfs in thailand is really differents from Europe

  7. Damn uk tracks. If you come to Birmingham in England, would be great to watch you! We don’t like the sun. Or the cold. Or rain. See why the British moan so much?

  8. Worst score this year 111 in a club comp. Handicap going up not down hugely frustrating. Can play par / bogey golf then throw in 8,9’s or worse

  9. Worst round this year is 98 on a par 72. I'm supposed to be off 17.8. Sometimes, no matter what you do, the ball just won't go where you want it to…

  10. Wales, England????? Please tell me your winding us Welsh up? That’s like saying Ukraine is in Russia.

  11. Had a round a month ago start like that. Made my mind up that I was walking off by the 4th! Went and enjoyed the rest of the day at home watching sport on TV with the dogs

  12. Ive played2 rounds of 9 hole pitch and putt in a year. +5 with a 5 onthe 1st. +6 with a 6 on the 1st 🙁

  13. I had my first ever chip in on the 7th at Rolls nice to see you get one too! One of my favourite courses to play

  14. I feel bad for recommending the course a few months back lol. The course can definitely punish you if you're not careful.
I had my worst round of the year last weekend. Shot +12 and i play off scratch.

  15. I can't believe you got to play a round with @thehairygolfer 😮Shame it was such a tough one for you. Looking forward to seeing his take on this! 🏌⛳

  16. Ahhh, the classic "chip chip putt putt" for double on 8…

Thanks for showing us this side as well and not just the Instagram Golf…

  17. Raised the bat with a 100 after blowing the last 5 holes a few weekends back at Wanderers.. haven't done that in a while

  18. good on you for posting this. every golfer can relate and knows what this feels like. im off 7 and scored 96 on recently and it just went from bad to worse. had a shank, top and chunk in the round too. lots of swearing and i threw a club at my bag… i never usually do any of that and am normaly super positive… "why the fk do i try to get better at this game" i thought… and then i watched this video and remembered, it can happen to the best of us once in a while. dont sweat it. better days are ahead of us !

  19. I’m an 8.4 index in Scottsdale AZ, my worst score this year is 86, my first round. It was awful 😂

  20. swing looked different than it used to, right from the first tee. way less athletic. you injured? if not hit that range yo. fix your shit. it wasn't the ground causing your poor tee shots.
    get well soon!

  21. Growing up I used to live in Texas and down there it would be Bermuda grad golf all the way, and every summer we would go up to Utah which would have more bent grass courses. As someone who has made the transition to playing Bermuda to bent grass, I can attest that it is way different. Bent grass feels sticky and tends to grab the club way more, but at the end of the day you can’t over think it, you just need to return to the fundamentals and focus on swinging smooth and accelerating through the ball. I find that the second I’m making excuses for a bad round it’s already too late because then I’ve convinced myself that something is wrong, when having bad holes and bad rounds are really 100% normal and happen all the time.

  22. We all have one of those days when we play. But I have one of those days every time I play, unfortunately.
Also I hate it when the guy with the trombone follows me around the course

  23. I had a +30 in a medal yesterday (8.6 HCP), so thanks for making me feel a bit better Playa!

  24. Glad to see this as a 2.7 hcp, shot 87 in the recent comp and just stank the place out. (Shot a -1 gross the following day)

  25. Matt I love watching your videos mate, but Wales is not in England and you won’t make any friends in Wales saying it is 😅

  26. The Rolls will chew you up and spit ypu out if you have a bad day. Best to forget and carry on!

  27. Thank you for sharing the shame. I once shot a 127 at a Valley Ridge in Alberta, Canada. I lost over 2 dozen balls, having to reload from my car after nine, with 3 of them diving off my driver into the same creek that was 30 yards ahead of one of the tee boxes.
