Cody Whitehair and Lucas Patrick split time at center. Grote wonders if there’s competition for the starting job. Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool continue to deal with injuries while Eddie Jackson appears to be back at full strength.

  1. Claypool seems like he'll never have the work ethic to keep himself healthy or prepared. I have hope for him but im less confident everyday.

  2. I think Patrick is the better C but Whitehair is the better G. Would make sense to have Lucas start at Center and have Cody be the primary backup at all three interior positions.

  3. Whitehair can play guard. Patrick CANNOT. If Patrick is not the starting center than he is useless as the interior backup. Poles doesn't want to eat crow and cut Patrick so I think he starts at center. No one keeps a reserve who can only play center. To be fair Patrick was mediocre at best at RG but at LG he was PUTRID. He only played one series at C later in the season.

  4. So tell me , do you really expect a team focused on the run that doesn't have a pass rush to win many games . REALLY. No look at the guard they brought in Nate Davis , he is no Pass blocker . So the bears are going to be trying to keep up with passing teams when they can't pressure the Quarterback and the bears are running the ball .

  5. I doubt Patrick will be ahead of Whitehair. They both need to play before the season anyway.

  6. You guys sound very unintelligent about this team. Cody played great at center when he was prepared and Lucas broke his hand. Come on now.

  7. 14:22 y'all jokin' around but Tyler Scott has a clear path right now to take this time and really show he can play. Mooney out, Claypool dealing with minor injury. When Tyler Scott starts showing up in Practice and during the pre-season. We are going to wonder if he should be WR3 at the very least.
