As a shot stopper he’s probably ranked 1st as a keeper. He also has a mistake in him, he’s leading the way for clean sheets in the league and also 1 mistake leading to goals behind Hugo loris 😅. De gea has been a great servant over the years but he can’t pass for toffee and I don’t think he believes himself to be as good as he once was
Definitely not time to go. The whole get DeGea out is ridiculous. It’s as if he’s the only player to have made Individual mistakes. Get a grip. It’s football, mistakes happen……he’s made about 3 all season and played over 60 games! Jesus Christ!!
This is the problem amongst United fans. Let's find a scapegoat. Its always one player.
Maguire, Martial, Ronaldo, Pogba, De Gea have all been made scapegoats for either 1 game or a number of matches. However, the lack of quality in this team is absolutely frightening. The lack of goals has been an issue all season. We were winning goals by the odd margin at home all season.
For many games, including the West Ham match, I do believe that the manager has set us up correctly. In thr first 20mins, we had the chances, Eriksen, Bruno, Antony x2. Swap thr Eriksen chance with Gundagan's chance v Brentford and look at your outcome. We do not put away good chances, meaning that any sort of slip up from the back for or keeper will see us behind.
IF DDG hadn't made the mistake, we would have drawn a game we should have been winning. That's not a good position to be in. This is still a team that we all know, if we fall behind, we're not going to win. That's not on DDG. The midfield and forwards, I have no confidence in them, let alone the keeper. Who's winning us games.
This has been a consistent problem all season, again the set up has been correct from the manager. Spurs at home earlier this season, widely regarded as one of our most complete performances this season. Once again, complete domination in the first half but we only went in 1-0 at half time. We ended up winning 2-0 with a Fred deflected effort. I repeat, the manager has set us up correctly, the players simply fail to execute.
There is a galaxy in margin between the quality that City and Arsenal in-particular play with and Liverpool (when they get it right). Our outfield players are levels away and this is all the manager has to choose from. What has Sancho given us really. Sancho hasn't shown us 5 consistent performances all season, in fact all his time here more or less.
There's no points of agendas because overall, this team is not a team. Part of it will fall on the manager as its his choice to pick his best 11 but the lack of quality in the overall squad is frightening.
Absolute nonsense de gea is a Man Utd legend he’s made massive saves this season and kept us ahead countless times if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have gotten this far you can’t blame de gea for our poor attacking he’s entitled to a mistake now and again he’s been quality this season clearly people don’t watch the games

Although I don't disagree, we have more important positions we need to fill. 2 strikers and a midfielder must be a priority. With the budget we have, I can not see us spending money on a new goalkeeper unless we can get 120m in player sells.
There are too many games we concede and don't have anything in our locker to fight back. Or go 1 – 0 up and can't kill a game off. I don't see how people are blaming de gea for the goals today. Casemiro has gone out of position to try win the header which has pulled lindelof out of position and left gundogan wide open. 2nd goal is poor from the whole defence, to leave him unmarked on the edge of the box knowing what he can do is unacceptable. Yes de gea could of done better on positioning but he should never been in the situation in the first place.

I think the best for us is he accepts a contract with low salary & stay as a No. 2 in the squad because he would not only provide that back up for the hectic schedule but also will help nurture whoever he are buying this summer.
