On today’s show, Andy reviews his grades from 2022 and ultimately asks – which Packers’ roster is better – the 2022 team, or the 2023 version? Find out today!
Love will be able to navigate well enough to get out of the pocket to get more time to pass, or run, like Rodgers used to be able to. If we run MLFs offense, run first and use the run to set up play action passing, I think Love should be fine. He won't be vintage Aaron Rodgers. He will have ups and downs.
They could certainly go 9-8, their schedule is fairly friendly. Yeah injuries huge impact but also the youth of the WR room. They are all so young I think that can hold the offense down too.
Regarding last year's QB play. Avg. at best. I see Jordan Love a major improvement in physical talent and a singular focus on plays run will help a lot. Rodgers in 2008 was a refreshing upgrade to the previous QB who was also not up to prime attitude or ability. Now we have similar. So I am very bullish. I also see a 7-10 or 8-9 season similar to last year though I see better numbers including more 300 yd. games. I see an even better running season this year due to QB and HC being on same page and better TE corp. The only thing that will keep GB from getting into the playoffs will be rookie mistakes and QB starting first year. This will be an exciting year. Another note from last year-Christian Watson helped an avg. play QB a lot in a few games-Cowboy game in particular. More of great Watson play this year.
Using Musgrave and Kraft as blocking tight ends in year one would be a huge coaching mistake. Their value right now is in receiving, something we haven’t had for many seasons at tight end. LaFleur shouldn’t do a “Barry” and play these guys out of position.
Andy let’s compare this to a school test. If the teacher makes the test harder the scores will get worse, easier? Tests scores will improve. The numbers you come up with tend to ultimately deal with the strength of competition!
yup…9+! I can't mention it enough but the younger, more athletic, offense, with a fresh new attitude and playbook, all being on the same page, and no Rodgers baggage to carry around, is going to be a key to a better season and future.
2:53 – 3:05 I don't do excuses so for me with Aaron #THE#REALITY#IS#THAT THE SEASON CAME DOWN TO ONE GAME, THAT LAST GAME AGAINST DETROIT HE CHOKED & YOU FAN BOYS CAN KICK ROCKS WITH Y'ALLS EXCUSES FOR AARON‼️💯💯
Watching every single packers game last season was tough. The simple fact rodgers failed to reach 300+ passing yards even once is a big indicator it was time for a change. If love plays at the same level rodgers did last season, in theory we should become better. Now if he is able to create a new look to our passing game passing for more then 300 yards multiple times specially with lafleur implementing new offense plays, will and should open our run game to be even deadlier.
It's funny how everyone wants Jordan to be at least as good as 12s worst year ever played…. Broken thumb on his throwing hand, shity online, trash receivers, busted ribs, trash coaching, etc….
Thanks Andy, I watch you every day and every day your good. I agree with you about this team talent wise being better than last years team. I keep saying it though, I think with a first year starting QB, how the season goes will depend on how MLF and Barry do. Even hurt, 12 covered up a lot of warts.
In my opinion the turning point of last season was the Giants game also what’s up w/ Aaron Jones only having 2 rushing TDs !? Jones was very underused last season positive things happen whenever they get the ball to Aaron Jones hopefully the offense will be more reliant on the run next season Watson is gonna go off aswell
Who the hell knows. I think the roster as a whole is better, but it doesnt have aaron rodgers… and thats a huge chunk of what made us a winning team… so again, who knows. 🤷♂️

Imo, lafleur rosters were
2021>2020>2019>2023>2022
My off season feelings anyway. In season we'll see
Is he better than Brock Purdy?
GPG🧀🤟🤟

Into the unknown … exciting for sure! Best of luck to Jordan and the rookies. And GO! PACK! GO!

What ho, from the UK!
I’m pumped to see a mobile QB again in Green Bay, gonna keep defenses on their tippy toes

the first time you described Luke must grace it sounded like travis kelce
Last year’s roster is better because they have experience and Rodgers, but this roster is more exciting and has a higher ceiling.

This team is more talented than last year!
Id say the roster was better last year for sure but it isn't a massive golf

interesting analysis as always, thanks
Bullish is quickly becoming Andys favorite word 😂
