  1. The thing about Teddy and his +200m off 25 runs if he often does one off the ruck runs on fourth tackle. So he gets his stats up, but he stops any set plays being done on 4th and he takes himself out of the kick chase for 5th. Teddy does too much and it's been a problem as far back as when the Kangaroos lost to Tonga. If you watch the last 20 mins of the game against Tonga there were so many times where there was an overlap and hands would've done it, but Teddy runs himself to be the hero and the team suffers. Walsh should be fullback for Australia

  2. I'm a Queenslander, and my giddy aunt, the Blues needed MORE of Luai's attitude! Good on him; he was the only Blues player with any fire in Game 2.

  3. How often is a series lost in the first two games? This is the perfect opportunity for NSW to blood basically a whole team of youngsters. No expectations, just give them a feel for Origin.

  4. Joey would be great, but he's said his mental health couldn't handle it. How about Gal? A hard man who stood out for the Blues during the period when QLD were on a roll.

  5. The reason Luai's so chill is because he's not even a new south waler at heart. He wanted to play for qld but couldn't. That in itself, years ago, should have been a huge red flag for nsw selectors. His heart will always be with qld. You cant grow up worshipping and supporting one state, then play to the bone for the other team 20 years later. And theres a great big difference between being involved and doing a few good plays or tries while the momentum is with you. You can only play to the bone at origin level when the roots of origin run all the way back to your childhood. Laui is like a transgendered origin player on the field. Like a fish out of water. This is coming from a qlder, but nsw biggest problem for the last few years is the nsw halves. Cleary is probs the best halfback in the game at club level, but he's a huge disappointment at origin. He (and Luai) never exploit qlds out of position defenders, if the fullbacks are out of position. The other night, Moses proved to be a far better nsw origin half than Cleary. He was looking very hungry and dangerous. Nicho Hynes is and will always be better than Luai. His hearts with nsw, instead of being torn between qld and Somoa or wherever it is he's from

  6. Firstly love the show. They needed a genuine halfback. For me Moses is traditionally a ball running 5/8, same as Nicko. They would have been way better served going with Reynolds in this series and starting fresh next year. They spent so much time on Qlds line and came up with nothing. Reynolds has the best short kicking game in the comp and brings the forwards on. I would have gone with Reynolds and Hynes.
    Up the Maroons!

  7. No no no. Hammer was standing in front of the player and collected a forward pass in the first try. Should have been a no try/NSW penalty. But you seriously can't question Val Holmes knocking that ball on just because it wasn't the best recording angle. He had a finger on the ball the whole time as the ball fell from the clearest recording angle. No obvious knock on was recorded. Benefit of the doubt boys

  8. Love the big fellas take on Luai and the narrative he's 💯 on the money.

  9. Lost me at the Luai chat. Origin means more than an individuals feeling, you’re representing a whole state; you don’t smack your state.

  10. Congrats on the 10k subs. Love the show and look forward to the shows every week.

I have a question about Goal Line Drop Outs. Why don't more teams kick them so the ball goes hard along the ground at a 45 degree angle aimed between the 30 and 40m mark? I feel like the ball is still going a decent distance but opposing teams might knock on or could miss and have it go over the side line?

  11. Awesome poddy weapons! ❤❤
Qlder and doggies man.. loved you at the dogs clive.. you and sonny were the fucken men.. and the rest of the lads..
hated you for the blues!! And fucken ennis
    Ennis n mason coach

  12. Wiremu 💯 hit the nail on the head about the importance of selecting the right moment to unleash your disrespect. And Luai, he's about as good at timing his disrespect as a clown at a funeral.

  13. I'm QLD through and through but I was always a fan of Big Willie. The intensity he brings into the game is out of this World.

  14. Great to see Willie. I'm an australian living in US but still follow League and Willie has always been my favorite player, he was the best. He so insightful about the game and the players and the tradies, ha ha.I wonder why I don't see him on main stream tv. Probably the language, maybe cut out the F word a bit but thats Willie I guess. I played in the good old days when a puncheup was considered fun and part of the game.

  15. I'm a Queenslander, I'd never seen this podcast and I'm stunned at how well spoken Mason is. I grew up watching him as one of the most hated NSW forwards and it's pretty shocking to realise he's a rather eloquent bloke. Damn, fair play Willie.

  16. When Crichton made the break, Munsters effort was instrumental. It took away the option for Crichton to step back in and also allowed dce to go balls out on the chase knowing his inside was covered..

  17. Scope need some Penrith love mate, tipping the Knights before knowing all Origin players out surely we going for em next week 😂

    Love the poddy lads

  18. I love too see if the blues will play game 3 or the same old same old what thay know best 'fighting"and crying 😢 😭 😪 😫 thay need more than a bloody coach the way thay are playing as it's is the player's that have too.Qld playand work doing so and found the best coach for them working together said it all

  19. Willie you're an inspiration to all us low IQ humans. To see a fellow sub 80IQ man reach such heights is inspiring. Thank you for all the work you're doing.

  20. Used to hate big Will with a passion when he played for the Kangaroos against the Kiwis, but otherwise loved his style and swag. Awesome to hear his views on things cheers broz.

  21. Looooved the pace getting this up so quick considering how messy the night before must have been

  22. I agree with "Big W" it was like watching a normal NRL match you get picked to rep yr state it's all in, but I didn't see it bit soft if ya tell me.. 😎👊

  23. Too many crap Rugby League Podcasts on social medie… Never heard of them. Should we ban those wannabes from talking crap about the game. Only RL ex players should talk, not nobodies, unless hes a technical advisor about the game…
