There is a new training aid called the straight stick. I got my hands on one and wanted give it a try to let you know if it is worth purchasing or not.

After using the product I thought it was great and will be a huge help in fixing a lot of the common mistakes I see amateurs make. The adjustable, pre-formed grip will teach you the correct grip. The slider will help you understand how to swing the club on plane and when to release the club.

I also provided a simple drill to help you get the most out of this training aid.

If you want to get one, Performance Golf has offered my viewers 54% off your purchase when you use my link. Save money and become a better ball striker by using the link below.

  1. Your reviews has too much filler dialog. "let me tell you what I like and don't like about the club." "here is what like about the club" "the first thing I like about the club is…."

  2. I had the same problem that other reviewers have had and that was I could make it click regardless of my swing path or where the speed setting was at. I’m 65yrs old with a swing speed of 70mph and I was getting a click every swing even when it was set on 100mph and beyond and even with an exaggerated over the top or inside out path.

And as soon as the club strikes the ground when hitting balls off the ground it would release the weight just from the jarring of the club hitting the ground when taking a divot. I could set it on 100mph and take a very light 50mph swing and the thing would click. I did an experiment and held the club vertically with 2 fingers at the very end of the handle and lightly tapped the club head straight down on the ground and sure enough it released.

I don’t see how you get any feedback at all from this contraption. And the supplied instruction videos done by Rocco are vague and pretty much useless. I also found the grip to be too small for my hand. I wear an extra large glove and my hands were uncomfortably squeezed into the form and the sharp edge of the top of the adjustable part of the grip dug into the pad of my hand.

All in all this club was overhyped with claims that just aren’t true. You can find other reviews on YouTube of people having the same experience I did. I sent mine back and will never do business with this company again.

  3. Sorry, ya lost me as soon as you said Performance Golf reached out to you. I do appreciate your honesty though!
