Are any YouTube content creators really suitable professional tournament golfers? They both take large commitments that aren't necessarily the same; you (anyone) can be one or the other but not both.

Moving on doesn't necessarily mean you're done with golf. Being a dad is the most rewarding thing in the world to me, and I'm sure its the same for you. Play recreationally, and get into some scrambles (with friends and family), or local events when the itch arises, and it needs to be scratched. You're a good dude Andrew.. you never know what tomorrow brings! Thanks for the vids either way.
Yes! But only with more on-course practice and rounds. Sorry, but nothing replaces taking the practice onto the course itself. Good luck and best wishes.
Definitely don't beat yourself up over the Good Good tournament. That was populated mostly by Korn Ferry and other pros that are playing ALL THE TIME, and their games are sharp.
The good good tournament is a sham , no disrespect but YouTube golfer like you zac ,fat Perez, etc are not as consistent as Korn ferry players , we love your YouTube stuff anyway 👌🏴⛳
I think you actually knew the answer to your question a few years ago when you started doing YouTube videos. You have a great channel though.
You never could compete. Why keep pursuing this illusion at your age and keep pretending to be some amazing golfer? Just do YouTube stuff and stop making constant excuses.

I would love to give it a go, but sadly, nothing far enough north. Up here in south central Pennsylvania there's not a whole lot of events to play outside of Philly section PGA.
You are not committed. Unless you decide to really recommit to being a tournament golfer you need to stick to YouTube content
It would seem that if you can be successful (ie: get a good number of subs) in posting YT golf videos, that the stress level is substantially lower than trying to play and make it on any level golf tour
Andrew my man, you are WAY too hard on yourself. I know you yearn for professional golf and you most certainly have the skill (it's there, we see it in your videos) but this juncture in life has you in a different place. It's doesn't mean the end, just a different plan and this is temporary. Stay in this moment with your family and let life unfold. No need to make proclamations or absolutes about the future, that story is still left to be written!
I don’t understand YouTuber golfers and I mean I love you all but what do you mean you don’t have time to prepare when all you do is golf? I play golf and some tourneys here and there and I never get to play as a dad and having a legit 9-5.
