Phil is top 5 best player of all time. This course is suited for right to left shot. being lefty, it suits his fade. If he starts hot and smells victory, I would not count him out. The odds are very stacked against him, but a victory here would be one, if not the greatest victory of all time in golf.

He might have a shot. There have been tougher tracks and setups on the PGA tours designated event courses than LACC. The faiways are wide and the greens are soft. No creativity required. This course is easy and boring to watch.
Does anyone care what Shameblee says any longer? Just last week he was saying Phil didn't have good character because he had to pay money back on an investment. It was an intentional slap because he is a popularist. Didn't mention that Phil actively worked with authorities and provided all details. He acts like is a good judge of character, what about Rory? Got Engaged and then bailed. Support North Ireland who aren't event allies of the US – unlike Saudi.

You can just see all that blood money pouring out onto the Golf channel table. When everyone is drowning it, none of them can see clear of it, because its become acceptable and normal to them.
