  1. I hate golf, but if I was a golfer I can tell you one of the last things I am bringing with me is a jug of sand.

  2. So under no circumstances should I put the divot back? So the only way to repair the divot is having the same box with me? I mostly walk but got a push cart and could bring sand with me. Nobody seems to do this at my club, but I’m not sure why. Also got yelled at once for not putting the divot back in which I felt bad for, but now your telling me that’s dead grass.

  3. Sure that’s true with the Bermuda he’s on, but other grass types like northern grass types is a different answer

  4. So I gotta get a baggy for all my divots now 😂😂😂

  5. Do your job when I go to work I don't show up at the job and ask the client why the demo didn't get done no I do it

  6. I'll play golf, you fix the course. That's what I pay my membership for.

  7. Even with the Bermuda grass, our members tent to leave the divots without filling the sands. 😢

  8. I appreciate this as an avid golfer, people put way too much sand down or none, fill your divots and fix your ball marks and one your course will be nicer and two you’ll actually play better

  9. The misconception used to be the right and only way to fix divots before there was sand tool or whatever tf you call em

  10. I worked maintenance for years, that’s not true. The grass will grow back if there is enough moisture as a lot of the roots are not torn just pulled out

  11. Grinds my gears when people don’t fix fairway divots and especially ones on the green. It not only makes you an asshole but shows how lazy you are.

  12. Every time I see the euro youtubers put the grass back, I think of this. I was yelled at by a greenskeeper when I was a kid, like 10, to NEVER put the grass back. I got a nice lengthy lecture about it! Still hear it everytime! Hey kid what f do you think your doing

  13. This is only for Bermuda grass. If you live in the Northeast/west US and into Canada – please fill in the divot w/ the grass chunk. If it gets water over the next few days to a week, my experience is, it will grow back.
