    I never watched LIV Golf on the CW and might not watch The PGA ever again after this two faced business deal. Also for the PGA all these years to claim tax exempt like other Professional Leagues. Such BS.

    I thought the PGA had the upper hand with Rory and Tiger. Rory is a big draw, and, people go nuts over Tiger. Last time Tiger was at Southern Hills, they had to call in extra security. The PGA should be ashamed.

    Only losers took a side. The pga players look like losers. They are complaining about it not being fair. Maybe they should have had more foresight. No one to blame but themselves.

    I think for some of them it was about not taking money from a genocidal regime, but they did already take American money, so no one is clean. The PGA also has had plenty of its own problems (not paying bottom level players and workers on the courses) that will hopefully be rectified, although the Saudis do practice slavery (much like american prisons) so I don't expect much.

    To the point about an overnight deal. I knew a couple coaches who ended up oversees for a short period who got offered interest to say for example in Russia. They don't want to burn bridges but they don't want to go so they say a ridiculous number and stipulations. I am talking 6 figure speaking fees, private jet, all expenses paid. And the country says… deal.

    And they were like oh @#%!. And got on a plane. This does not excuse the hypocrisy. But it does happen that way some times.

    Every organization that strives to make a profit will never put principles over the money. It has never and will never happen. The PGA is just the latest example of money over everything

    ok so in a statement the pga put out on the deal it says the new company will be a for profit of shareholders business but they will keep their tax exempt non profit status?

    The hypocrisy is so disgusting. Many american companies take Saudi-Money, even the US government does business with SA, but Golf isn’t allowed. At the end this is a good deal for Golf moving forward. And that’s all, Golf fans should care about.
