Phil Mickelson was quoted in a recent article on Golf Digest on subjects such as his critiques of golf’s governing bodies, the Ryder Cup, and LIV’s success/plans.
At this point in the controversy it matters very little who wins a major event, the only reason the LIV golfer gets a momentary bump, is purely the novelty of the controversy. LIV is modeled to be a 'team' competition more than the individual, so team brooksie gets a cookie.
WHAT? Phil isn't quoting Greg Norman's 30 year old opinion on why the PGA is so terrible for the game of golf? Where's the spunk he had when he sued PGA? Where's his swagger with Norman on his six? Where IS Greg? Phil's history of giving subdued responses like these have always followed bad press resulting from statements coming from his over confident ego. For Matt Adams….why no interest in whether the court case LIV lost against DP tour is related to Phil's apathy?
He is consistent in his view. He risked a lot by leaving. Liv shook up a stagnant pga tour. The events in between majors are for the most part lacklustre and boring. Liv brings a different aspect to the game. If there's no cut players are more likely to go for the riskier shot therefore creating more excitement. Liv is good for the game and the pga players pocket
Shouldn't have taken LIV Golf for PGA Tour to double prize money. Money was there, just went to persons other than PGA players. Shouldn't have taken LIV Golf for PGA Tour to improve financial considerations for players who often miss the cut (shouldn't lose money for the week).Shouldn't have taken LIV Golf broadcast production and commentators to make PGA see the "Jim Nance Show" is lame and needs modernization to make the game appeal to a larger audience. But it did take LIV, and without LIV, none of these changes would've happened.
Tiger's records are in the PGA. For a reason. No one that plays "other leagues" gets their records ascribed TO in the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc., etc. LIV is a parasite. It should be listed as The Elites 54. And then let honesty prevail for the supporters of that. Notice that FB Players and BB Players that play other leagues get their history from the NFL and MLB respectively. Not the Also League. – – – –
LIV was started as a Toy for Billionaires and for whitewashing the history of genocidal religious kingdoms. And that is where it should stay. If "Golf Fans" want to watch that . . . OK.
"A closed shop"??? – how many foreign players does each tour have? How exactly is it a closed shop if players can choose what tour to play if they can qualify? Once again, Phil took the big bucks offered to clear up his degenerate gambling problems – period. He is world class at sophistry.

LIV is not "fledgling"
Competition is good,
PGA was holding and hiding all their cash, so much for non profit!!!!
But as a Veteran, the Saudis who finances this LIV scramble it is wrong from a moral and Ethical standpoint.
There is right and wrong, this is wrong from the moral standpoint on the free world.
