Right as Elk & Diane were about to start recording the Tour Report for the RBC Canadian Open, the announcement was made that the PGA TOUR, DP World Tour and LIV Golf would be merging. To kick off this week’s podcast, the pair react to the news and give their initial thoughts. More to follow as the week goes on… But let’s not detract from the RBC Canadian Open, which is being held at Oakdale Golf & CC just outside Toronto. The pair talk about the course, the field and make their picks in the form of Outright Favorites, Ones to Watch and Dark Horses (Elk has a 600/1!).

Good quality reporting on professional golf. Very happy for the 50 ranked and up PGA golfers. Hope they do eliminate "the cut" in professional tournaments. Good podcast. I loved going to the LIV Adelaide event. I hope they still come to Adelaide or at least to Australia. I feel this deal will be good for all stakeholders but importantly the players and fans. Golf will grow globally much faster with the PIF investment.
