  1. I would appreciate your response to the below :

Cricket org improved bat technology, increased speed of ground's outfield, improved underground sanitation system, reduced grass on the cricket pitch, etc to increase the frequency of 4s and 6s and reduce the fall of wickets so to increase the number of moments of entertainment to spectators.

Hardly 5% watch tennis in India. I love tennis more than cricket, but I'm just one in 1.4 billion people. I am able to clearly see why tennis can never become #1 sport in India or entire world or Europe or USA — too many seconds of time gap between the completion of a rally and the start of the next rally.

Time spent on players recovering, 1st serve, 2nd serve — these are important for the players, but not at all good to hold the attention of the spectators. Such dull moments are relatively lesser in Football, and so it became #1 world sport.

Something has to be done by Tennis org (just like Cricket org did) to fix this defect. The shot clock is not the solution. Something else has to be done. The double serve concept is the "achilles heel" of tennis. Remember — all this is in the context of Tennis to become #1 world sport. Not otherwise.
