This is exactly what my swing thought is right now.. having tried many many different options to cure over the top ..only one thst works .but I find I can't turn so much as still pulls it over top..do you mean turn lower half keep top shoulders back
This works best, if you feel like you're "loading your thumbs" on the backswing. And then using your thumbs at the top of the swing to cast or throw, like casting a fishing rod.
There is more than one strategy possible to accelerate the club head. One is to cast early and drag a lagging club head mass as shown here, another is to hold radial deviation lag deep into the downswing then allow it to release fully around the hands to the point hands and arms are locked into a V with the shaft of the club straight in line with the lead arm at impact. I started using the first in the 1980s – early 2000s then switched to the second finding it worked better for me.
Which generates more striking force? Both will generate enough for maximum compress of a golf ball which can only compress so much before releasing off the face. Beyond that point is more power a good thing? No because it results in more kinetic energy left the club head after impact the golfer must deal with to maintain balance through to the finish. Golfers using the first approach will need to release club around head and shoulders. Golfers who used the second whip around hands approach will have finishes which are slower and more controlled.
Bro I had no idea i was supposed to cast that shit!
I always try to keep my trail wrist the same with the "waiters pose" at the top and try to keep it the same on the way down for the extra help on bowing my lead wrist.. I suppose I can do that and "cast" at the same time?
I've played golf with friends over the years without really knowing what I'm doing nor caring. YouTube started showing me your shorts and I've been binge watching them because they're so good it doesn't matter that I really don't care about golf. Went to a driving range today and was absolutely crushing balls in a way I didn't think was possible, and now I'm searching marketplace for used clubs 🤦♀️ Keep it up, you're doing amazing work!
Almost all golf tip videos are so long and boring that I stop watching after 90 seconds….this type of instruction fits my ADHD type brain perfectly…..cheers bruh!
You can confuse a lot of people. You supposed to help . You dropping the club inside by straightening out your right elbow. Casting is when you break your wrist ankle and swing you upper body before you lower body. You know this . This is so misleading
You guys are awesome. I’m a bartender who used to work in the golf business. You give the proper lessons about feel and ball position in a fun way with shorts. I’m all for it! Easy solutions! We all have our own swing!

Monte’s no-turn-cast
The exact opposite of what 99% of teachers have been saying for years, but dammit it’s spot on 😂
I just did this at the range and it works amazing, learnin through feel is amazin
Looks like something Larry Cheung advocates.
This is, hands down, the best vibe you’ve dropped to date, in my opinion. Gonna be bopping to this in the kitchen with the kids 😂🤙🏼
This is an example of someone doing what they love for a living! Life goals
This beat is heat 🔥

I like how this increases/lengthens hand path… boom… physics
(understated boom on purpose… for effect)
You lose alot of club head speed when you cast like this . I wouldn't recommend this.

Once they said do not cast. Now we do wtf
I've seen other instructors on YouTube teach this as well, they call it de-hinging the hands. Not sure why, but it does work.
Do not do this. What type of comedy is this? Most of your stuff isn't too bad
Lefties…. "Throw the cluuuuuuub to 8 o'clock!"
😁
No lie your videos have truly helped my golf game!! Now if I could figure out how to hit a driver I’d be golden 😂😂😂 Keep grinding!
Alright Jake, my crew (we’re in our 70’s!) are completely banging balls betta AND loving everything you do for us! Ain’t nothing but Purina 🤟🏽❤
This man is amazing 👏🏿 🎉
Repeatable pull fade
The past few months I’ve been working hard to get rid of my casting and now I learn that I’m supposed to be casting!?
Having a hard time taking a divot for some reason, and when I do it’s fat 😢

Finally…
Somone else spreading sense…👌
There's a big weight on the end of the club…throw it around and feel it…
All that hold the angle, lag rubbish, just makes people drag the handle and be late with the clubhead…
Fine if you want a flippy 2 way miss…
Good thing I saw this while at the range
Nope
The cast feel has been a game changer for me
That's a hit, shit slaps like a mf'r 😅

took me 3 years of over the top bullshit to figure this out
The clock doesn’t work for most people
Monty Scheinblum special.
