Brooks isn’t the focus because of his Liv golf affiliation…. So it seems like the media picked the obvious story.
Guys if no one purchased clubs without getting fit there will be tens of thousands of clubs on ebay destined for landfill.
I love my Mizuno 921 irons. The problem with Mizuno irons are if you play a lot they do not last. I play 4-5 times a week so I have switched to Ping 410’s.
#1 killer of high handicappers is missing the fairway. Much better to be 175 out in fairway than 135 out in 3" rough
#2 killer is playing wrong tees. Play the tees that are 36x5i distance. I'm a 9 and hit my 5i 170 so I play 6100. Brooks should be at 7500

Of course this is massive for LIV….the has-been tour….I'm sorry eat a slice of humble pie…..these guys are great….were great and still are great……grow up….LIV is not going anywhere…..
Guess if I was in the market for a new set, being a lefty, it's Ping. I understand lefty golfers are the minority but it can be annoying when I am looking for new clubs
I’m LOVING my TM 300 forged. Short irons are a bit weak (49* PW). Also playing some of my best golf ever. The Mizuno look’s maybe a bit harder to hit but??? I have set of the 223 pros and may revisit but curious where you would place the 300 forged in something like this.
Disagree….the dispelled narratives the guys LIV got were "washed up", "past their primes", "can't win", "not incentivised to compete because of guaranteed money"….the body of work over the past 2 majors definitely is a win for LIV
You actually can get fitted for SUB70 at remote locations.
Sihwan Kim the worst player on LIV made the cut and top PGAT major winning players like Matt Fitzpatrick didn't…..plus Koepka won his first major for 4 years so yeah this is another W for LIV just like Phil coming 2nd in The Masters.
Big win for LIV and Brooks. LIV has benefitted the players by guaranteeing money and allowing more rest time in my opinion.
Comment on fitting…. Indoor fitting in no way shape or form relates to outside fitting let alone actual playing. So I end up buying one club to try what I pretty much know are my specs/likes.
A demo program like golf Galaxy used to have where for $25 bucks you could play the clubs for 3 days or so is the best solution possible in my view.
It seems like there aren't very many Mizuno bags out on Tour at all. That being said, with the known quality of Mizuno irons, how many players are using Mizuno irons?
LIV can lure away great golfers from the PGA Tour with huge sums of money, but can they develop great golfers on their Event / Show tour? It seems that until LIV has a development tour and opportunities for outsiders to 'Monday Qualify' for one of their worldwide events, they are a traveling show, not a Tour. In my mind, a traveling show isn't a place where Players accumulate World Wide Golf Ranking points, but an enjoyable payday show.

Garmin gives you front middle back green, front and back of hazards, distance from last stroke, and distance to any point for free. You only pay for green contours.

Tony the tosser, you said LIV players were all washed up. At least admit you got that wrong and the last 2 majors have proven that. So, if world rankings are still going to be world rankings going forward they need to work out a way to include LIV players in world rankings. Then again you Yanks call a baseball competition which is USA teams as the World Series so it wouldn't surprise me if US Golf establishment decides to keep only PGA events as contributing to the Golf World Rankings.
All due respect, all I heard about LIV was they can't compete because they only play 3 rounds, are not "competitive" because they are "bought" and are now part of a "rinky-dink" tour. They represented VERY well at the Masters and they had 4 in the top 10 at the PGA. Good golfers are good golfers and the BS about LIV detracts from the story. Stop bashing LIV as NOT a valid platform.
Why are you discussing LIV???? Stick to talking about equipment only. Don't include yourself into the stupid political debates, people will start to ignore you as you start to take sides with all that. Stick to the equipment, that's what people want. They don't need to know what side you're on. You're supposed to be the equipment website.

I have the original New Level 902 irons and they are surprisingly forgiving. Still have a set of Nike Vapor Pro irons which are amazing if I get to play more often. Not in the market for 2023.

Sihwan Kim, who had to qualify to get into LIV, who had been playing consistently poorly on LIV, always coming somewhere near the bottom of LIV events week in week out, MADE THE CUT at the PGA, and finished 62nd.
Without LIV tour and players, the Majors will be known as Minors.
Not a fan of LIV or the crowds they are aiming for. Its good for both players and spectator's to have choice, partic in countries outside the US.
Asia is still traditional and respectful keeping it a gentleman/lady sport and not for young rich yobs…..

Irons need to be judged on lofts. Period. Many clubs are mis-stamped. A 7 iron is 35* . Anything else isn't a 7 iron. Etc
