  1. Still have a set and they are loft for loft excellent against modern comparables. Nice video. Thanks.

  2. Love these. I remember John Daly used a set of the X12 Pros back in the day. I followed suit, but with the X14 Pros. Still relevant today. Very playable.

  3. I don't own a set of the 16's but have a set of the 18 pro. Very similar clubs and they do play well. But the best of the Callaway''s that I've had the experience of playing with are the VFT red line's and the BB's in beryllium copper. The latter are so forgiving it seems almost illegal. stay safe

  4. I’m with you with the opinion on the new “blade” cavity backs. There’s nothing wrong with seeing the cavity I think they look cool! Especially the new Paradym irons, They all look the same, good for people who want to hide the non blade iron 😂 but they all look the same now, not as much uniqueness like older stuff. IMO nothing wrong with new hidden cavity backs but just not for me.

  5. I tried an X12 sand wedge, a pro series version, man that thing had a hot face. Catch it tad low or shallow and it suddenly rivaled my 9iron in distance, soaring on a flat trajectory over the green, lol! Chipping was loads of fun, but despite all that I liked the looks of it…not a Callaway iron fan back then. Drivers and fairway woods yes, irons not really. Except for the non-pro X14, that looked more understated to me. You hit that iron very well, almost look bored, ha!
