  2. i would hate to have paid tickets and then it's a DQ xD. also must be harder for Ymer with such a rowdy crowd to begin with. but sensible decision for the tournament esp. cuz it's not a final and it enables their hometown player to win hehe.

  3. Mats and Stefan, please, coach this young player and learn him the Swedish way to stay calm (even with an unfair situation) 🙁

  4. Tennis is not helped by idiots like Ymer. You just never hit the umpire's chair period. And he should have stopped playing immediately after the bounce and call for a challenge.

  5. Did they disqualify Zverev? Cause if they didn’t and they wouldn’t even check the line that double BS lol

  6. This old one is such a BS. He put his hand down when the ball landed indicating he was clearly paying attention. Then 0:59 he lied that he looked the other side. Why a prof tourney hires an old man who lies and has no energy to even come down the stairs? He should not have been allowed to be there in the first place. Every ATP tournament should use hawk eye. Human specially old men are too error prone and deceptive.

  7. Bullshit well Medvedev should be disqualified many times before with such referee

  8. Ref was right, you can't wait to see if you missed, you have to stop play immediately

  9. Umpire should have checked mark, for sure. But no excuse for that kind of behavior, smashing the racket on umpire's chair.

  10. Awakenbeerus is an unrivaled authority in the world of sports betting, and his recommendations are invaluable.

  11. Ymer was of course right , they are not novak or something they work hard , so much pressure and that dumass umpire won't check !!!

  12. If you want an umpire to check a mark you should stop playing and ask for it at that moment. This rule also aplies to amature tennis. If you want to call a ball out you can't continue to play and after you lose the point say oh that one ball you played it was out. Also the ball was in you can clearly see that. I like passion but this is aggression and intimidation. Also check the video "Ymer Goes Crazy And Destroys The ATP Camera" on youtube, his aim is great, but I think that is Elias Ymer,.

  13. Good for you ref! You showed both players, the audience and people watching at home who's the real boss. Your job is already hard as it is, last thing you want is to get out of your chair more than you have to.

  14. The chair was absolutely wrong for not at least getting out of the chair and looking at the mark. Ymer was not asking for much he only wanted the ump to check the mark that's all. Get your ar$e off the chair and do your job, you get paid very well to sit there and umpire a tennis match. I honestly think it's racial at this point for Gasquet they did it and for this poor kid they did nothing!

  15. …appears very suspect response from umpire…if it had been an Alcaraz or Djokovic…the umpire would’ve gotten down to check the mark…i can understand Ymer’s over it attitude especially if he feels like the umpire is not officiating fairly…if, i were him i would file a complaint…as every player has the right to fairplay and officiating as related to the outcome of a game, set or match…this was disgusting…😕♥️🌹

  16. What a useless umpire. Too lazy to get off his seat. Ymer presents his argument, and gets waved off.
    Anyone would be pissed.

Props to Ymer for going to Fils and congratulating him after his silly tantrum. Props to Fils for his communication with the audience.

  17. Of course Ymer was out of line, but I remember when Mcenroe and a host of others used to do the same thing, and everybody thought it was so entertaining. Anyway this is clay and the umpire should check the mark, guarantee if that was Djokovic or Nadal or a retired Federer, he would have got off his ass and checked the mark, you know it and I know it, just sayin………..
