Meh they left for the cash knowing there was a chance they wouldn’t be able to play majors again. Doesn’t seem very fair to let them play just the biggest tournaments that most players only want to play anyway. Just make a tour PGA vs Liv and get it over with.
Brooks Koepka is currently 2nd on the Ryder Cup points list. Top 6 point earners are automatically put on the team. If Brooks maintains his position, he should be on the team. Nothing in the U.S. Ryder Cup qualification rules prohibit a LIV player from being on the team. If he qualifies, he will earn the right to play.
Why are they acting like LIV golfers are dominating the majors? They’re doing exactly what most thought… a few to finish top 15 but overall, not much more. 3 in top 10, 5 in top 20 at PGA. I think 4 or 5 top 30 at masters. That’s what I’d expect. Brooks cam dj niemann are all top 20 in world (regardless of what OWGR says), so they should be competitive.
Chamblee is a joke. Apparently his biggest reason for hating liv is due to who funds it. He basically chose the issue that everyone could possibly get on board and agree with him. Professional athletes deserve to be compensated for reaching the top level of their sport. These guys are the best in the world yet only get paid if they make the cut! Terrible business model…..unless you’re the one writing the paychecks. All the sudden there’s more money after liv becomes a legitimate threat? I bet Chamblee is paid a salary. If his pay was solely dependent on ratings and numbers of viewers, I guarantee he would choose carefully which tournaments he would like to provide commentary for. Or go to a different tour that needs a celebrity commentator for the weekend that offers him a guaranteed paycheck every once in a while. LIV was initially supposed to be a limited number of events with limited participants, which would still allow pga golfers to fulfill their tournament obligations. It only became a direct competition to the pga when Monahan threw a fit. Sportswashing, not growing the game, BS. The PGA not working out a solution to coexist with a limited number of LIV events is not growing the game. For instance during the same weekend we have a liv and pga event, only 48 of the top golfers play LIV. Everyone else plays the PGA tournament and you opened up the field for 48 lower ranked golfers to earn a paycheck and points. There’s too many pga tournaments already without big names in attendance anyway. It’s funny how when golfers treat their sport like a job they get criticized when they want to get paid, and are told it’s a gentleman’s game and there’s value in that. But when liv creates a fun, game like atmosphere AND pays golfers for exhibiting their talents, it’s sportswashing. So what is it, a game or a job?

First time I agree with Frankie
A massive 180 from foreplay…
Weren't you saying they're sellouts taking murderers money like 6 months ago?
Bout time y’all spoke some FACTS in regards to LIV players
They definitely shouldn’t be allowed to play in the majors. Not fair to the pga guys.
Fair point to put an asterisks on any major without LIV players. But an even bigger asterisk needs to go next to any LIV event title
The same guys that have finished high in majors for a long time…
FINALLY they aren’t just parroting brandel chamblee lmao
Is there an asterisk on JT's PGA Championship since Phil wasn't there to defend? Honest question
