It's funny but also frustrating how Spurs & Chelsea fans be like "thank God city won the league instead of Arsenal cos we hate them more", United fans were like "we hope City win the league instead of Liverpool cos we hate Liverpool more than City" whenever we've been competing against them over the past 5 or 6 seasons. However as soon as they batter Real Madrid & make it to a Champions League final everyone suddenly realized the magnitude of the situation we're in & the significance of the absolute nightmare it'd be were they to win the European cup. Regardless of how much English fans bang on about the Premier League being the best league in the world the fact is that City have turned the premier league into a bit of a farmers league winning 8 out of the last 12 championships or whatever it is, just like PSG in France, Bayern in Germany & Real Madrid/ Barcelona/ Atletico Madrid have done in their leagues, not so much anymore but just like Juventus did for a long time in Italy, the overall or average quality of the premier league is superior but the truth is we have one team that are significantly better than everyone else right now, & they've achieved that through blatant financial doping that's clear as day to see. So they've already kind of ruined the premiership with their dirty money, that's been happening, but the European Cup has always remained this sacred, mythical entity that's always alluded them, it's served as real-world proof that regardless of how much money you throw at something you can't always buy success, you have to earn it. However if they win in Istanbul the significance will be that no longer will that be the case, because they'll have spent their way to the most converted prize in all of world football, if they win the magic of the European cup will be dead & football will never be the same again, once they've won one they'll keep winning them year after year & they'll turn that competition into a plastic monopoly just like they've done to the premier league. As a Liverpool fan the idea of City lifting the European cup makes me sick, so I suppose the one thing that Liverpool fans, Arsenal fans, Chelsea & Spurs fans, even United fans as much as Liverpool fans & United fans bang their heads together a lot, can all be on the same page about is every single other fan base has to be 100% unilaterally in support of Inter Milan going into the final, they represent everyone else right now so they have to win that game in Istanbul for all of us, if they don't it'll be the end for every single other team in Europe…

Why do people keep saying City have two 11s? They actually don’t, they have a strong 18 players at best… outside the starting 11 it’s Mahrez, Laporte, Walker, Foden, Alvarez… outside of that you won’t find starting 11 players.
A secondary point is that Ederson, Dias, Akanji, Alvarez, Rodri, Bernardo, Stones, Walker, Ake weren’t World beaters before joining City, these aren’t players everyone was going on about…and trying to sign..
