Has anyone looked at the viability of TUGR? The OWGR is now irrelevant. The OWGR "criteria" changes or has exceptions for anything that the PGAT seems to want to do. They are not consistent. I still contend that the OWGR should figure out how to include all players from all tours.
I think that LIV is having marketing problems. Last last year, if you went golfing, everybody on the course and at the bar was talking LIV, LIV, LIV. The past 4 weekends at the course, nobody even know if the LIV was playing that weekend or not.
If LIV is only talked about during major weekends, they are in trouble.
Regarding world golf rankings, 1) should the players and tours adjust to the existing OWGR criteria or 2) should the OWGR adjust to reflect the golf la escape. If the intention is the reflect their name (Official World Golf Ranking) then the obvious answer is 2. If it is any other objective then it is political (power). Of course there is a necessary adjustment period which we are in but time needs to be of the essence.
The PGA legacy thing is total BS. The PGA doesn't even care about it's own legacy – they got rid of the third biggest and oldest tournament – The Western Open – won by names like Arie, Tiger, Jack etc for over a hundred years and they trashed it to switch to the FedEx Cup era in an attempt to bring in new fans. Only a handful of tourneys have a meaningful legacy (aside from Majors) like LA Open, Memorial, Pebble … nowadays making an Ace at 16 in Scottsdale creates bigger fan memories than winning the John Deere.
The PGA championship is just full of shit. Allowing liv players to play after all the law suits and crap they said about PGA Rory join liv get 150 million PGA just craped on you and Tiger and Rahm

LIV is a different product targeted to a younger market. The quality of the golf is top class…its entertaining…love the team concept, but they need two more..one from Japan and one from Korea
Matt you can't beat hard core corruption…IMO the OWGR board will find every reason under the sun not to award ranking points..
Mark McCormack who invented the OWGR would find ranking solution for LIV in a day…but he's not around anymore….right now the OWGR are wrong…and these disgraceful board members should be ashamed of themselves….its all about protecting the PGAT monopoly
I agree with Matt, one step away from dumpster food. And Chamblee is still a big mouth clown. Quit watching him years ago. Good show guys.
