Phil’s performance this past Masters weekend is such a reflection of his career – scintillating, peerless shotmaking that produces a second place (or worse) finish. Yay for Phil, he played his best, even when it wasn’t enough to take home the hardware. At Augusta, Jack did it late, Tiger did it late, and Phil didn’t. Make no mistake, just about all of us would trade places with Phil in a heartbeat – he did great compared to me and my golf buddies, but he only did “kinda good” compared to his peers.
If I play Mickelson I win million dollars by 15 points instead of Sevenson
