Relive the highlights of the 22nd edition of the Dutch Amateur Championship held at the Eindhovensche Golf in the Netherlands. The 2022 Dutch Amateur Championship was memorable for many reasons, not least of all a nearby forrest fire which meant the fourth round had to be cancelled.
The men’s tournament was won by the Dutchman Lars van der Vight for the second year in a row! A nail biting 3-men playoff between Italian Giovanni Manzoni and Dutchmen Lars van der Vight and Jack Ingham resulted in Van der Vight lifting the trophy with a birdie on the third play-off hole.
The women’s trophy went to Mayka Hoogeboom with scores of 73, 71, 74 for a total of +2. With this dominant performance she held a 7-shot lead over her nearest rivals in Daphne van Son and third place Marta Silchenko.
