Attack time!
yep, drive for par putt for birdie
…the more you play, the more the odd's have an impact!
You remember the good drives but it's the 1 putts that win you games. Gir all day but if you can't putt you not shooting low scores
Cameron Smith watched this video 😅😂
I noticed from the front low view the butt of the driver is up from the ground . I need to try this usually all the bottom is touching the ground for me . Yours looks delofted but squared. Seen this from other good players.
How are you enjoying the autoflex shaft?
As a short hitter my fairways hit is really good, but when I think about what if my drives were longer….my fairways hit would probably not as good.
great advice and content. I expect you are going to do a session on game management which sort of encompasses a lot of what you have been saying, I guess my point is that that there are a lot of golfers who already have the game to be a 70s shooter, they just don't manage their rounds properly. For example on a course you know ( par 72) breaking 80 is 7 bogeys and 11 pars you should plan to par the pars 5s ( x4) and 2 of the par 3s (of 4) that means you need 5 par 4s (out of 10) this goes against slightly playing each shot as it comes because you have somewhat planned ahead. But what this allows you emotionally to control/ manage expectations that on your bogey holes that don't suit your eye, or are just plain difficult play them as a par 5.
Absolutely right. If you walk back what it takes to shoot in the 70's, you need to drive well. You don't need to be really long off the tee or hit every fairway though. You need a realistic shot at hitting greens because greens in regulation mean pars and pars get you better scores.
My dude.
Is that driver shaft LGBTQ? If it is can we expect an update on your pronouns soon lol
As a former scratch golfer, my driver was never a scoring club for me. I was never really good with it. I had trouble hitting it straight or high because I generally hit down on my driver… I was quite good with my irons and was able to hit my 2-iron fairly consistently around 250 yds off the tee. So, I never at the time had the motivation to really work on my driver. This was also way quite a number of years before launch monitors to I was never really told how to hit it… the club pro sucked big time!
Anyone struggling with the driver but want distance – keep the driver and use a 3 wood shaft or cut down your driver shaft by 1-1.5'''. Increase the chance of hitting the middle.
Good content, my go to tips guy since many years
