Oklahoma State University alumni golfers return to the area where they played their college golf this week as the LIV Golf League comes to Tulsa, OK. Talor Gooch, winner of the last two LIV Golf events this spring, headlines the world class field at Cedar Ridge Country Club. On Wednesday, Gooch, along with Charles Howell III and Peter Uihlein spoke to the media. Fellow OSU Cowboy Eugenio Chacarra and University of Oklahoma product Abraham Ancer will also compete.

  1. Only a few of the golfers have exemptions past this year‘s majors, so they better enjoy it while they can. LIV is going to fold in the foreseeable future because of lack of income for the Saudis and then the LIV players are going to be unemployed. The simple truth is, no matter how you feel about LIV, people just aren’t watching. Their television ratings are atrocious, and other than Australia who are starving for any golf because of only 4 PGA tournaments a year in the country, nobody has shown up to watch and they’re giving tickets away. The fan base is just the politically motivated far right, outsiders and renegades who like to stir things up for the sake of doing so. It’s people who really aren’t golf fans at all and they relish the opportunity to trash the establishment.

  2. @Patrick Desrosiers The irony of you accusing Wallace of misinformation when you watch LIV and their propaganda machine go to work every day. Anyway it’s not rocket science getting information about crowd sizes. You get them from local news oulets who reports at every LIV tournament. Various independent sources has confirmed that there were 63,000 tickets sold across the tournament in Adelaide and that has become a benchmark for success for LIV – crowd wise. Not one single event before and after Adelaide has come even close – in fact it’s actually quite choking how minuscule crowd participation has been in any other LIV event. In terms of who turns up at LIV events?!? Granted Wallace use exaggeration to promote understanding and satire to make his points but in general terms there are certain trends when it comes to crowd types. Where do he get his information from?!? A large network of people knowing attendees I would guess. I can tell you it actually matters who you do business with!!! Trump brought the right wingers to LIV golf, Greg brought the renegades, The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia brought the outsiders and you Patrick – the only true golf fan watching LIV golf is bringing informers😅

  3. I can't believe there are still people who seek out liv golf press conference videos, just to make negative comments. It's getting really old. I wonder how much they're getting paid?
