  1. Looking forward to the Aussie event. Looks like they spiced up the tee pairings, got some content out and going to be a bigger and louder crowd. Heading in the right direction. They should also play in team kits/colours it would help knowing immediately which team a player is

  2. Just on the world ranking points….it's a joke. The Sunshine Tour is having it's Tour Championships this week. Basically the "Fedex Cup Final" for their tour with the top 50 on the tour playing. How many points are projected for the winner? A measly 2.7 OWGR points!!! If you are ranked in the top 200 or so even winning this will likely see you drop in ranking….making zero ground. So there is no incentive to play in the Tour's final event. If you have means to rather play in the DP Tour that week there's 19 points to the winner and 10 times the purse. Even Korn Ferry has 12 points to offer for the winner this week and that's technically a developmental tour. Yes the field is not that great but they should go back to having a minimum set number of points for the winner of events on recognised tours. It used to be 24 and up for DP World Tour and 15 and up or something for Sunshine Tour. Without that you can play as good as you want on the Sunshine Tour and not get anywhere. It's almost to that point too with the DP Tour. Making top 25s is no good.

  3. Should be a great event in Adelaide will be the best atmosphere yet, party hole will be almost out of control world ranking points need to be sorted asap.

  4. We Australians embrace LIV, not just because we love our golf, but we've been starved of quality players! We had the best in the world play here regularly back in the 70s, 80s, 90s – I saw Gary Player at The Lakes, Jack at the Australian – even Tiger before he turned pro [And you too Elko!] – just to mention a few. Particularly since the PGA Tour went to its 'wrap-around' season, the number of name players heading Down Under has really dropped. So I applaud Greg Norman & LIV Golf for bringing back all these high quality golfers back to Australia so we can see them play live once more!

  5. Ask again whether there are any regrets when those guys stop qualifying for the majors.

  6. LIV has made OWGR obsolete Diane. There will have to be a replacement ranking system or the PGA Champs and US Open will only have US viewers.
When DPW tour won the arbitration meetings last week every DPW player realised they have been relegated to a third tier qualification tour with prize money never exceeding EU800,000 for a win. They will be wishing they went with Tom Pieters now.
BTW The USPGAT 's attempt at team golf (Zurich) put everyone to sleep faster than Cantlay.

  7. it should not be about us or them PGA or LIV they are just golf competitions one for america and one for the world the more they try to wipe out the LIV players by not gainning world ranking points the more it hurts both competitions

  8. Im proud to say I am a member of Port Kembla Golf club, Steve Elkington was the Club Champion of the club before he went to the US.
