I am Tom Saguto, PGA Member and founder of SagutoGolf. Thank you for visiting my instructional page where you can find how to get on the fast track to improving your golfing abilities. Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.

My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.

My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.

  1. 1000% more control with the putter. I also suffered from the wobble effect of light grip, also inconsistent swing speed.
    Nice one Mr Saguto👍

  2. I feel exactly the same with the weak grip. I'm actually using an interlock grip that works quite well.

  3. Any idea why there is so much advice out there saying “you should hold the club lightly”? Tiger Woods also advised to hold the club lightly in his boon and I was totally confused because I feel like I lose all control when I hold lightly. 🤷‍♂️

  4. I putt much better when I rock my shoulders. I use a cross handed grip and am comfortable with my pressure, not too tight not too loose. Thanks

  5. First video I've seen you do with putting glad to see your knowledge on this subject. Hope to see more and keep it Crispy

  6. You're really hitting on the baby bird thing. Is it because they grow up and become crispy like KFC?🤣🤣

  7. I disagree with you pro. The shoulders are only used for leverage. The feel is in the hands. Steph Curry uses his wrist to finalize his shot. Good putters use their fingers to feel the club work towards the target. Tight square putters rely on the putting plane and have trouble judging speed correctly. I say this because (not bragging) I’m known as one of the best putters in my entire group of golfers 100 plus. I admit that I do practice putting quite allot. It’s all feel, once you master the roll of the ball without stabbing at it. (Hint) Bowling and golfing have more in common than you would think when it comes to putting. With practice you will find the commonality.

  8. Thx tom. I'm in the no grip pressure group. Too handsy. Looking forward to seeing this technique soon

  9. I felt the same way with the standard grip. I swapped my hands around so I’m holding it like a lefty but putting righty. Doing this has improved my putting immensely. Hardly ever have a 3 put on the card anymore.
