  1. You can't really compare QB's from different era's by simply looking at the numbers. Up until the early 80's everyone was throwing more INT's than TD's. The TD/INT ratio in the 70's was 0.79/1. In the 2020's it's been 1.96/1. If you plug Bradshaw's rookie year (38.1%, 6 TD's, and 24 INT's) into the QB Inflation calculator, it's still bad, but not eye popping bad. By today's standards those numbers translate to (48.2%, 10 TD's and 17 INT's). Which puts him slightly below the Josh Rosen, Zach Wilson bin, and down there in the Deshone Kizer 0-15 bin xD. Ok yeah it's still pretty bad, but hey, Peyton Manning won a Super Bowl with a 9 TD 17 INT performance in 2015, so what do we know lol? Bradshaw had the Steel Curtain. Oh, and Joe Namath sucks in any era, just sayin.

  2. The Vikings did beat the Lions last season so I wouldn't fear them but I would respect them, they are good.

  3. The start of the NFL season is like the football (soccer) World Cup. People have been starved of the product for so long that by the start, they’re gagging to watch any competitive games, even the Lions.

The same way at the start of the World Cup The whole of Europe will sit down to watch China vs Costa Rica.

  4. Detroit took a step up, can’t say the say for Minnesota. With a very upgraded defense backfield…detroit should route the nfc north, based on what we saw last year. 5-1 in the division.

Calling Campbell a Baffoon? That’s hilarious.

  5. Thanks for taking my question! I read that CBS Sports ranked the Lions as the 4th best team in the NFC, three spots ahead of the Vikings. Can I nominate them for Silly Statements? The statement below is my specific entry.

"the Vikings parting ways with Peterson and Kendricks raises some question marks on that side of the ball"

No, we knew they were gone before the season was up. They were both old, slow, and bad at man coverage.

  6. I think maybe a street brawl between SKOR and KFAN like the one in Anchorman would be epic. Side matches of Common vs Judd, Mackey vs. PA, and Declan vs Cove. $49.99 pay per view.

  7. I think both you and the NY commenter were right. I think we have a better actual shot at a superbowl this year than last knowing what we know now about our previous DC and current, however, we shouldn't be projecting 12 wins either. Vikings do have a real shot to build a scrappy fly around and make things happen defense and an offensive on the same level but more balanced and harder to stop in the playoffs. We are likely with our youth to be better at the end of the year than the beginning. Too much is made about off season paper championships and not enough about the coaching and process of improving. Think 2021 Bengals. People forget they were 10-7.

  8. Options open trade jj after the season and 2 more future numbers 1s to get the top qb get rid of him before you have to pay him get rid of cousins stack the best oline and defense around the next number 1 pick like jamies goff baker

  9. Judd, BSM Class of '91 grad here and Mr. Sundrum was the best teacher we had at BSM! Mr. Jeremiah was a close 2nd and he's still there!!!

  10. Kirk’s ready for his best season. Tarkington was a scrambler like todays QB, but not the size. He was also a smart nerd like Kirk. Check Kirk’s win-lost to Tarks at the same career year.

Tark left football to start a successful computer company.

  11. Hard no on Kyler. I think coaches don't want him. I believe that's why Flores took himself out the running for that HC job. And the contract is not good. I'd rather pay Kirk that. But am hoping they draft a franchise QB before I die, thats a superbowl within itself!

  12. My 20-yr high school reunion is in August too for Duluth Central, 2003. I'm totally with Phil on this one, we grew up with Facebook era where does this even matter anymore? Is it worth it? Not sure. I love the surprise of running into them on the streets, in the cafes, at a restaurant and catching up that way. Not this forced social setting that was initially setup as a government psyop to control the mass. They're good people, but why don't we all get together outside of this setting? Because it doesn't matter. Gordon Ramsay rules!

  13. Teachers gave us the ability to understand this show and to make comments on this show. Thanks teachers.

  14. As a Lions fan, I wanna SEE it, before I believe. But, I love the momentum, and national attention. That being said, ONEPRIDE!

  15. I think the Lions are legit team – but I really didn't like their draft considering they could've traded down to get the same value – and I saw that scenario BEFORE THE DRAFT.

  16. How bad can they be with that roster? They’ve built a team to take over the nfc north if we aren’t careful.

  17. I agree with Frank! I think we are easily an upgraded team this year. I think we win less than 13 wins but feel better about our playoff chances in January than we did last year.

  18. All the national buzz about the lions, reminds me of a few years ago when the same experts that are praising the lions were praising the brownies! Baker! That D the running game the brownies were even predicted to go to the Super Bowl!! The media is like, the lions won 8 out of their last 10, but they so conveniently forget they started out 1-6…. Let the lions show everyone that's it's truly different and see where they are at the end of the season

  19. Joe Namath might have been over rated but he brought a championship to New York 🏆 Joe Kapp was one of the toughest to wear the purple uniform 💜! Bradshaw had that great defense and great receivers !!

  20. Its delusion to think a better DC would have made a significant difference… Even if Ed Donatell was the worst/most incompetent Defensive Coordinator in NFL History, it was our Personnel Deficiencies that were the main problem. The players were still out there, generally in the same vicinity of the opposition, yet were incapable of making plays because they were either too slow or overpowered, or just outmaneuvered. Its well known that Scheme flaws have been overcome countless times by players making plays…. Ed D. can only carry so much blame. The players out there can still make plays if they're any good. Ours were mostly not good. We were a 8-9 team that overachieved due mostly to Justin Jefferson being amazing, and other damn good offensive personnel, and fantastic luck.

  21. Shout out to red track at berenda elementary school (Madera, CA) teachers (1995-2001). All of them where the best!

  22. ONLY the Vikings can pull off a season like last year. Yes, it was super magical, and that's why this year, I doubt we do it again….

  23. Ya'll should do a video on ….If you could change all of the QBs in the NFL, and move them to the team that would be the best spot for them. That would be interesting

  24. I loved talking about class reunions, and teachers. Last summer was my classes 50th reunion, and yup, some of us still look a little like back then, but many totally changed.😊

  25. That Greg Lewis catch wasn't even in the top 10 of noteworthy plays in Vikings history. That's the "clue" that threw me off.

  26. After this draft they should pump the brakes. They botched it hard . If they'd of taken the defensive studs that were there they'd be a dark horse Superbowl team for sure. It's astonishing how ridiculous their draft was.
